On the Ball
AIRED:
The day of Kyle and Chardonnay's wedding arrives, complete with a glossy magazine deal, and despite the burns Chardonnay received. Her happiness is spoiled, however, as she learns that the men who caused her injuries will not be charged. The adoptive mother of Ian and Donna's son arrives distraught at the reception to tell them he is missing. Ian panics when the news about his secret son hits the headlines, but Stefan arranges for the club to assign a lawyer to start a custody battle on Ian and Donna's behalf. Tanya starts having nightmares about Frank, who still lies in a coma, and gets little support from Jason who is more interested in his affair with Marie. And Donna is horrified when the Walmsleys' private lives make the papers yet again - this time, it's Ian's exploits with a couple of lap-dancers at Kyle's stag night.moreless

Well, it's true, the wedding between Chardonnay and Kyle was kind of weird, but the rest of the episode made up for it, didn't it? I like the storyline of Chardonnay being tortured by that fire, but I also wish she would get plastic surgery or something and get better. Also, we finally get to see another side of Kyle.

I love that Jason is continuing his affair with Marie. I can't wait for it to blow up in his face. Frank's nurse is quite naughty, isn't she? Huh. Tanya was great in her scenes of being tortured by guilt. The entire Daniel storyline finally got better. I hate Ian for what he is doing to his child, but the ending added a new layer to the entire thing.moreless

What a fruit loop wedding! The fairy tale theme is nice and all, but the whole Snow White sleeping with dwarves and stuff was just too much. Had it not been for that part, I would have liked it. The fairy tale dress and horses and all were nice, but the Snow White thing with kids dressed as dwarves was just too freaky. I hope Tanya's nightmares drive her insane. Jason treats her horribly, so I don't know why she gives a damn about his career anyway. If I were her, I'd get a divorce and get as much of his money as I could and be off about my merry way. She's a stupid tacky cow though, so she doesn't. She reminds me of Carmela Soprano, but I always liked Carmela. They are both stuck in horrible marriages but stay in them for the power they get from them. Ian is a jerk. He didn't give care at all about his son until he saw all the good publicity it would give him, and his lawyer put a nice spin on it all. It turns out the laugh is on him as the episode ends with a tabloid front cover of him in bed with two whores. The previous episode recap mentioned a photo being taken of that, but I must have either missed that or it wasn't shown at all. I remember it showing Ian going off with the girls, but nothing about a picture. Poor Char has gone all crazy and started chopping up her beautiful hair. I always fall for the redheads. I love her hair straight and down. I didn't care for the curly style she had at her fruit loop wedding. I like Frank's sicko nurse. She makes him touch her in naughty places.moreless
