Take Each Game As It Comes
AIRED:
The Turners worry about their future when they are told that Frank, who remains in a coma, could recover. Ian doesn't want to know when Donna meets the child they gave up for adoption 10 years ago. Tanya catches Jason with Donna's sister, Marie, and learns that Marie was only showing an interest in Salvatore Biagi to make Jason jealous. Kyle's stag night is as lively as ever, at which Ian is photographed enjoying himself rather too much with two lap-dancers. Chardonnay's hen night goes up in smoke, literally.moreless

  • Getting better.

Okay, now it is finally getting more interesting. After setting the stage for this episode in the pilot, the footballers and their wives become more interesting.

First, Tanya and Jason were the best with fearing that they might get caught after what they did with Frank. I love Tanya's attitude at Chardonnay's stag night, and how she caught Jason with Marie. Jason is a bastard, isn't he?

Chardonnay and Kyle were also very entertaining. Chardonnay's accident was hilarious, even though it probably wasn't meant to be, and Kyle is an interesting character. Donna and Ian were okay in the episode as well, but it is obvious Donna doesn't fit in this world as much.moreless

Frank is found, and he's still alive, but in a coma. Marie has been secretly having sex with Jason, but when Jason later rejects her, she decides to show up at Kyle's stag party with Biagi in order to make Jason jealous. Donna, unbeknownst to Ian, has discovered the name and location of the son they put up for adoption nine years ago. At Chardonnay's hen night, dome drunken fans accidentally spill alcohol on her chest and she is caught on fire.

I still think Jason is an ass, but Biagi is stuffy and not very likeable either. I just can't feel sorry for him. Frank's coma situation is obviously a ticking bomb. I feel sorry for Daniel's mother, she should have never left Donna in her door and she definitely should have never accepted any money from her (more on this in the next episode). Most importantly, poor Char. I have started to really like her character, and then something terrible happens to her. Poor girl, I'm glad that she decided to go through with the wedding in the end.moreless
