Colin: Congratulations, Bethany. You're the first sales rep to ever be late on her very first day. Quite an impression.
Bethany: I'm sorry, Colin.
Colin: No problem. Though you might save that apology for Mr. White, 'cause he and his lawyer have been waiting for almost an hour. His wife died last week in a car accident, but Penny's been able to encode some memories from the original brain tissue, so at least we're not working with a blank slate.
Bethany: Did he request any enhancements?
Colin: Uh, took a few years off her, I think. They usually do.
Bethany: She was only 30.
Colin: Well, 30's the new 40. Didn't you get the memo?
Bethany: Surprised he didn't order double D's.
Julia: (voiceover) Memories are tricky things. Sometimes they're real and sometimes they're imagined. I remember being in a dark claustrophobic place; somewhere cold. I try to move my arms, but they're numb. I hear machinery whining in the background and sometimes I can feel someone watching me. I don't know how I got here, and every time I try to remember, it only comes in small pieces, fractured, like broken glass. My name is Stephanie, that much I'm sure of. Stephanie White. And I think I might've died.
