This show was originally broadcast without commercials. It was so well received that it aired again on Christmas day 1960. Bernstein provided new introductions to replace the originals by Joseph Welch. Twelve year old Hayward Morse (son of actors Barry Morse and Sydney Sturgess) reading selections from St. Luke's Christmas story was another addition to the show. Bernstein also included a tribute to Joseph Welch, who had passed away October 6, 1960.
The "Love Walked In" dance by Charisse and James Mitchell is included in the "Let's Dance" episode of the third season of the PBS series "Michael Feinstein's American Songbook" that premiered in April 2013.
The opening number "Come Away with Me" can be viewed at this page for the Michael Feinstein American Songbook PBS TV show: http://www.pbs.org/arts/work/michael-feinstein-cyd-charisse/
Sections from the program with Eve Arden are included as extras on the DVD set for Arden's TV show "The Mothers-In-Law," released in July 2010.
The original 2" color videotape for this program has been used as a test case for the restoration of old television videotape recordings by the Association of Moving Image Archivists. Restored segments were shown at AMIA gatherings in 2009 and 2010.
