Foreign Intrigue

Show Summary

Foreign Intrigue was set in post-Second World War Europe and dealt with spies and various other shady underworld characters. There were three separate series from 1951 to 1955 as follows: Foreign Intrigue 1: "Dateline Europe" (1951-53) starred Jerome Thor and Sydna Scott. Foreign Intrigue 2: "Overseas Adventures" (1953-54) starred James Daly and Anne Preville. Foreign Intrigue 3: "Cross Current", (1954-55) starred Gerald Mohr as Christopher Storm, owner of Hotel Frontier in Vienna. The series was made in Stockholm, Sweden for US syndication and featured various European locations. The 39 episodes starring Mohr were well-written half-hour shows, well worth re-viewing.
