This show is very interesting...even though it gives me nighmares sometimes I can't stop watching. It is amazing how science and technology can recreate a crime scene from start to finish. However, it is very scary how heinous, treacherous and inhumane people are!!! You see it all the time on fictional T.V., but I can't believe how often people kill their spouses' to cash out an insurance policy!?!?!?!

this show doesn't give me nightmares, but it make me scared of the dark. When i'm in my room at night watching Forensic Files, I get scared to get up, walk across the room and get up to turn off the light, and walk back to my bed!

I get nightmares after watching CSI (accidentally, of course) and watching Forensic Files assures me that theres actually accuracy in Forensics on TV, so no...it doesn't give me nightmares.  it stops my nightmares.

You are correct it is very scary, however if you pay close attention to fictional crime related television most plots are derived from real life crimes and not always the ones that make national news. On just about every show there are researchers that look for little known and widely known crimes that they can turn into episodes. So when you are watching your favorite fictional show just remember you can bet the plot had it's roots in someones real life, SCARY.

I still have thoughts about the Mandy la maire [spelling?] one because she was about my age, and it was kinda creepy. Other than that, though, not really. But one time we were watching The Investigators and there was this one woman who locked her one daughter in a closet until she died and threw her body into a box and into a lake. And then she shot her other daughter and cut the bullet out of her back and then she died, too, and then the mom had to burn the house to get rid of the stench of death. That one still creeps me out.

I don't get nightmares, but it definitely makes me more aware of stuff. I used to go to the laundry room in my complex and leave my apt. doorunlocked (I'm right around the corner), but then I saw an eppie where this guy hid in this lady's closet and attacked her when she went to the closet to hang up her stuff; needless to say I don't do THAT anymore - LOL! I'm not foolhardy, but I feel safe where I live and just didn't think about it. Re: the theme...maybe I'm weird, but I love it...I think it fits the show. Lastly, I think that Peter Thomas has the perfect voice for this; has anybody looked at his picture? Definitely does not fit him!!
