Nick: Run Doyle! Never come back to the Baskervilles again! The Hound of the Baskervilles is a 1901 Sherlock Holmes mystery written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The book dealt with the possibility of a demonic dog haunting the Baskerville family, a dog not unlike the "hellhound" Doyle comes across in this episode.
