  • I just had the stiches removed from all the belly laughs.

Remember those halycon days of super hero cartoons?

You know, the good old days before cable TV, only three over-the-air (terrestrial) networks on Saturday mornings and UHF/VHF independent stations before and after school weekdays? Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Fantastic Four, Spiderman...you catch the drift.

Thanks to Lauren "I'm Craig MAC Cracken's spouse" Faust, and their experience from a show called The Powerpuff Girls, we got a belly laugh filled season four opener. Refences from PPG, plus Star Wars and just about every superhero series from the 70's through today. And thanks in certain terms to Daran Norris' abilities as Imaginary Man and Grey DeLisle's fun-filled Nemesis-ter, this episode was totally "AWESOME-RIFFIC!"
  • This episode is very exicting and is much like the Powerpuff Girls in some aspects.

This episode is very intersting. It is good to put in new charcters as the more there are the better it is to make more exciting episodes about them. I,ve watched this episode at least 100 times and it never gets old. I love the fact that even though Nemesis is evil she still not afraid to express herself and be free to be who she wants to be and what she wants to do. And the fact that Imaginary Man tries to stop her makes it a sort of sibling rivalry sort of thing, even though in actually they are both cousins somehow.
  • A new imaginary freind makes an appearence and his name is Imaginary Man, and he captures the eye of Mac who becomes his sidekick agianst Nemisis. Bloo ends up joining her in order to get Mac back.

This was a very neat episode, everything in it i loved. Especially how Imaginary man's weakness was flowers, i luaghed a couple of times whenever he went down when Neemis fired flowers at him. And the catch phrases that Mac was trying to come up, some of them were down right chessy, and alot of them really didn't go with the situation, I liked how ed saw everything as if it were a soap opera or a show.
  • Mac is a fan of Superhero; Imaginary Man and so he becomes his sidekick, helping IM fight his mortal enemy; Nemisis, and when a jealous Bloo comes and mucks things up when Mac and IM have got her, Mac shouts at him, Bloo then joins the Dark Side...

This was the first episode I watched and enjoyed in a long time, with the superheros and the Star Wars references and what not...

My favourite parts was 1) When Mac sprayed Hair Gel into Bloo\'s face, thus making Bloo think he\'s an ugly freak without his Uniscorn mask (which is a spoof of Darth Vader and his helmet!)

    2) When Bloo was being transformed into his dark side thanks to Nemesis, and when Nemesis convinced him into joining her in evil doings!

    3) When Uniscorn and Mac Attack are brawling with each other.

Overall, I really got back into my once forgotten Foster\'s Fandom, so I\'m going to watch more episodes after watching this one!

    My 1st Review Ever.
  • Awesome. It was about time this show did a superhero episode!

This episode of Foster's is definitely in my top 10 favorites! A new super hero imaginary friend "Imaginary Man" comes to Foster's, Mac thinks he totally awesome. But Bloo thinks he's lame. But every Super hero has an arch-enemy, and Imaginary Man is no exception. As there is a villain called "Nemesis" out to destroy all of "Man-kind"! Literally! While Imaginary Man tries to defeat Nemesis, she hits him with an onslaught of posies! Imaginary Man's kyptonite, no doubt. Mac quickly jumps in fromt of them while Imaginary Man defeats her! Imaginary Man aks Mac to be his sidekick, as Mac has an extroadinary power, to block onslaughts of flowers! Meanwhile, Bloo is even more jealous that Mac is spending more time with a big-chinned super hero than he is with his own best friend! Bloo decides to help Mac defeat Nemesis at her hideout: the ritziest salon in town! But when Bloo tries to help Mac defeat her, Nemesis gets away! And Imaginary Man gets a faceful of Pansy flowers, thus weakining him! Mac gets pissed off and tells Bloo to mind his own buisiness! Screw Mac for this ****! I always hated Mac, but what he did to Bloo was just unfair! I hate Mac so much now! While leaving, Mac streps on a hair gel bottle, thus squirting it in Bloo's face, then Nemesis comes back and convinces Bloo to become her evil sidekick ! Bloo accepts, and then they cause all sorts of trouble in the city! Imaginary Man frantically looks for mac to help him but gets trapped. Then Bloo steps out to fight mac in a one on one battle ! this is the best part! When Mac pulls off Bloo's mask, he is ashamed and shocked, no time for that because Nemesis jumps in and attacks them! Mac & Bloo reunite and defeat her together! Meanwhile, Imaginary Man and Nemesis are adopted by two cousins who are the son and daughter of the people who created Imaginary Man and Nemesis! Alls well that ends well, wouldn't you say? Not to mention that this episode is awesome because of all the spoofs shown in it such as Star Wars Episode 3, MegaMan, Jaws, I mean, Damn this episode rules!
  • Mac has really gotten on my nerves in this episode...

I felt like strangling Mac in this episode, ignoring poor Bloo and being such a jerk to him is what really made me mad. I felt like giving Bloo a hug and giving him a paddleball to make him feel better. And what made me even madder was Mac not getting his just desserts for being such a jerk to Bloo just to be with that sorry Imaginary Man. Mac's lucky Terrence wasn't in this episode or else he would've gotten jacked up... BADLY! Well anyways, this episode is a travesty and could've been more creative and Mac could've been more kind to Bloo!
  • Awesome-rific!

When a super-hero imaginary friend, Imaginary Man comes to town and recruits Mac as his sidekick, Bloo gets jealous and after attempts to ‘win Mac back’ failing, he ends up joining forces with Imaginary Man’s sworn enemy, Nemesis.

All around great episode! Especially with the spoofs and surprise twist at the end. The Powerpuff Girls references were an added bonus that only added to the episode’s greatness.

Another starred moment of the episode was seeing Bloo turn into Uni-Scorn in a scene that resembled that of Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of The Sith.

Stellar episode and a great way to start the fourth season!
  • Imaginary friend, Imaginary Man with his side-kick Mac help overthrow Nemesis and Uni-Scorn to save masculinity!

Hilarious. Utterly hilarious. I could not stop laughing while watching this episode. Mac and Imaginary Man's fight against feminity is a true battle in society today, although skewed a bit. We must save the world from girly pink-ness! Plus, being a Star Wars buff, the parody of The Revenge of the Sith had me giggling for hours, even after the program was over.
  • Mac and Bloo's friendship is threatened when an imaginary hero, as well as an imaginary villain, comes to town.

After watching the entire season 3 of Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, I was beginning to worry for future seasons. Due to Bloo's sudden change in behavior, poor writing and awful episodes such as "Camp Keep A Good Mac Down", I almost doubt that Foster's would reclaim its glory.

Fortunately, after watching "Challenge of the Superfriends", my worries and doubtness has been put to rest, as this episode seems to take its nod from the first two season.

All Bloo wanted to do was just to get a treehouse finish for Mac and himself, but a self-proclaimed hero known as Imaginary Man gets Mac's interest, and quickly Bloo gets jealous. This jealousy only increases when Mac decided to become Imaginary Man's sidekick, and when his attempt to get Mac back by becoming a superhero fails, he joins side with Imaginary Man's villain, Nemesis.

For being the first episode for season 4, I have to say that I'm glad I watch this episode. I'm also glad that Bloo is slowly becoming his old self again, the writers seems to learn their mistakes from season 3, and already, it has become one of my favorite episode to watch.

This episode is centered around a superhero imaginary friend known as Imaginary Man.This episode is great funny at times with a great plot twist at the end that I wont spoil for those who havent watched it yet.Being a fan of comic books and the Challenge of the Superfriends tv show I was hoping they would do it justice and THEY DID!!Not only did this show keep what we love about fosters it also had alot of references to the Powerpuff Girls which is a added bonus for fans of Craig McCracken's work.

Overall I give this great episode of Foster's a 10/10
