Eduardo: I AM NO SCARY BABY!!!! (Terrence gets shocked and pees in his pants) Ha! Who's the scary baby now?
Bloo: (In disbelieving voice) The whizbee wants to eat you? Eduardo: Si, it wants to! Bloo: (Still disbelieving) The whizbee wants to eat you?! (Eduardo nods and whimpers) It wantedto be caught by you!
Wilt: Sorry, but teenage boys come up with the grossest imaginary friends. I mean, this is seriously disgusting. Talking Urinal: I know you are, but what am I? Wilt: And real mature.
Terrence: People are always asking me "Terrence, how'd you get to be the bestest, most awesomest trainer on the Extremeasaur fighting circut?" And I tell them "Butt out, IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!"
Mac: Maybe we should just go inside, and do something. Wilt: Yeah! We can go inside and bake potatoes. You like potatoes. Eduardo: (Hyperventilating) But I could choke. Mac: We could read a book. Eduardo: Paper cut. Coco: Co-co-co-co-co? Wilt: Yeah, can we stand? Is standing all right? Eduardo: (Scratches own head) What about your feet? Everyone: (Wilt, Mac, and Coco leave) Oh, Eduardo! Eduardo: Your feet! Your feet is gonna get tired! Beware of the tired feet!
Terrence: What?! No way! How did a scaredy baby like you... Eduardo: (Shouting at Terrence's face) I AM NO SCAREDY BABY!!!! (Terrence is shoved into the crate, and the Pikachu-like imaginary friend electrocutes Terrence) Terrence: AAH!!! Mommy!! (Peeing in pants, feeling embarrassed) Eduardo: Hee hee! Who's the scaredy baby now?
Mac: I don't know. Why do I always have to figure everything out? I'm eight.
(After Terrence told Eduardo he won a fight) Eduardo: But I am a lover, not a fighter. Terrence: (Pointing at the monster Eduardo beat) That don't look like love to me.
Terrence: Yeah, like I would ruin everything by telling you how I found Eduardo and got him to fight for me down at the junkyard. How dumb do you think I am? (Leaves with sack of potatoes and shuts door behind him) Mac: Pretty dumb!
(Mac staples an ad about Eduardo missing on a power line, Bloo draws a mustache on the picture of Eduardo, and Mac glares at Bloo) Bloo: It makes him look distinguished!
(In dining room with Eduardo dummy) Bloo: Whose idea was this? Wilt: It was your plan. Bloo: And it's genius. (Mr. Herriman enters the room) Mr. Herriman: Coco, Wilt, Blooregard, Master Eduardo. Bloo: (With Eduardo dummy) Hola, Mr. Herriman! Mr. Herriman: Yes. Hola. Hola to all of you! (Coco, Wilt, and Bloo sigh with relief) Bloo: Genius. Mac: Any sign of Eduardo? Bloo: (With Eduardo dummy) I'm right here! Mac: Yeah. We better hurry up and find him.
Eduardo tells Bloo that he is not a scaredy baby. A couple seconds later a whisbee flies right by him, and he screams.
Some of scenes that were seen was from episode "Squeakerboxxx".
UK airdate: November 1, 2005.
Terrence wets his pants at the end of the episode.
Look Hard: The cloud at the beginning looks like Baby Poco from "Squeakerboxxx."
Look Hard: Look quickly when the gang searches for Eduardo in the slums of town, Wilt uses Coco as a bloodhound.
Imaginary Friend Debuts: Other types of Extreme-O-Saurs.
Frankie has become so used to her job that she managed to serve the friends' food with her eyes closed. This is also the reason why Frankie didn't notice Eduardo was missing, which she would have likely noticed should she have seen the false Eduardo.
The potato sack that Terrence brought to Eduardo before his fight was labeled "TATERS." Taters is a variant of potato, but used typically in the Upper Southern United States.
It seems some Extreme-O-Saurs can talk, although most of them cannot, as the talking urinal in this episode was capable of speaking.
Creaky Pete ("The Trouble With Scribbles," "Bloooo," "Bloo Done It") returns at the outset blowing a bubble.
Credits: The Eduardo dummy and Mr. Herriman playing checkers.
We see Mac in his pajamas for the first time. They are a baby blue long-sleeved shirt and pants with blue fuzzy slippers.
Running Gag: 1) Bloo saying that Eduardo running away is everyone else's fault. 2) Bloo saying "Genius."
Animation Studio: Cartoon Network Studios.
Frankie appears briefly, but has no dialogue.
Bloo wears Dracula teeth for the second time since "Squeakerboxxx."
The Prize Hive arcade from "Squeakerboxxx", along with the little girl who took on Bloo in a skeeball game and won and the bumblebee guy from that same episode (who was formerly at the bowling alley and created Bowling Paul in "The Big Lablooski") are all seen in this episode.
Madame Foster's Firebird from "Partying Is Such Sweet Soiree" returns.
Coco drives the bus for the first time since "Store Wars."
This is the first episode that uses Closed Captioning in the "roll-up format."
Title Card Sound: Eduardo crying.
Terrence returns. His last appearance was in "Beat With A Schtick."
On the bus, Coco presses the brakes and Bloo is flung into the windscreen. A similar scene occurs in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, on the Knight Bus.
Eduardo: Off To See The Wizard? Eduardo proves his courage by saving his friends from a sleeping monster. This is very similar to a scene in L Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, where the Cowardly Lion proves his courage by killing a monster that has terrorised the forest when it is asleep.
n/a: Baseball Cap Look closely at a baseball cap worn by the teenager next to Terrence's right after one of Eduardo's victories. It bears a striking resemblance to the "Fridays" logo on Cartoon Network, albeit in a different color scheme.
Eduardo: I'm a lover, not a fighter. This is a line Michael Jackson used.
Monster: Tranzor Z When Eduardo is fighting in the junkyard, he defeats a large robotic monster with a train like face and a red chestplate. This is a visual reference to the 80's anime, Tranzor Z (also known as Mazinger Z outside the US).
Talking Urinal: I know you are, but what am I? This line was made famous by Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens).
Monster: Pikachu The imaginary friend in the crate looked very similar to Pikachu from Pokémon. Even having the same electric attack.
Four Kids: Ed, Edd, Eddy, and Dexter
When the Foster's gang is about to be thrown into the the electric Extremesaurus cage, notice when a nerd is talking to three boys. The three boys look exactly like Ed, Edd, and Eddy from fellow Cartoon Network show, Ed, Edd n' Eddy. Meanwhile, the nerd closely resembles Dexter from a show Craig McCracken worked on called Dexter's Laboratory.
Lemony Wicked Awesome: Lemony Snicket Lemony Wicked Awesome is a spoof of the author of the A Series of Unfortunate Events book series, Lemony Snicket (Real name: Daniel Hadler).
Extreme-O-Saur Ultimate Fighting Tour: Ultimate Fighting Championships. The "Extreme-O-Saur Ultimate Fighting Tour" is likely a parody of the Ultimate Fighting Championships.
Game: Whizbee A spoof of the popular Frisbee flying disc toy by Wham-O.
Drink: Super Chug When Madame Foster is in the car and drinking from the cup, you can see the words "Super Chug" on the cup, which is obviously a parody of 7-Eleven's Big Gulp.
Episode Title: Eddie Monster The tile is a pun on the name of Edward Wolfgang Munster (Eddie Munster) who was played by Butch Patrick in the TV series, The Munsters.
