  • LOL! So original, so crazy, so funny.

Frankie My Dear is an example of why I watch this show. Foster's never really grabbed my attention in the beginning, although most new shows don't. But this episode got me hooked. LOL!!! It is probably one of the funniest episodes on Cartoon Network. The Orlando Bloo act is so original and just down right funny. Bloo has no clue was he's doing, and it's so funny to hear the stuff he makes up off the top of his head. And Mac and the pizza guy, whatever his name is, just make "Orlando Bloo" funnier. They can't work together and are constantly slipping up. And Prince Charming...there's no words for him, except maybe "crazy". The episode is one of my favorites, and I hope Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends can mantain this episode's quality.
  • best episode!!!!!

this episode is the best episode in this series every part of this episode was real funny the creators did an awsome job with this one Orlando bloo was real funny in the ending this episode made this series even more better

Orlando did said a line that was realy funny Orlando: Did frankie told you how we met? well i was working at millionair school learning how to be a millionaire which was silly realy cause i already made a gazillion dollers in the paddle ball buisness i just wanted to get my degree"

that part was realy funny and there was alot more parts which were just like that part i never knew that bloo will all of the sudden fall in love with frankie like that though oh well i like suprising parts like that it makes the show more better

so this episode is a great epiosde for fans of this show
  • Best episode EVER!

I think this is the funniest episode ever. It was just plain awesome. I luaghed so much that this became my favorite episode of Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends! The most hysterical part was Bloo trying to eat the pea. That was soooooo funny! It was genuis comedy. Not only that part, but whole plot of he episode was funny. Oh, when those boys learn? If you love comedy, then this is a must see episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Why can't more FHFIF episodes be as funny as this one? It was funny. That's really all I have to say about this episode.
  • Bloo and Mac both fall for Frankie but both of them get jealous and start fighting with eachother for her affections. Things get worse when an imaginary Prince Charming and a pizza delivery boy arrive and it becoames an all out war.

I thought Mac looked soo cute with that goofy love struck grin on his face, and I grinned my self when Mac and Bloo, when they both saw Frankie all dressed up and looking pretty, had thier mouths hanging open and muttering incoherently. I luaghed out loud when they thought that Frankie was dating the pizza delivery boy. It was kind of sweet how everyone kept falling for her and it was funny how bloo and mac tried to disguise themselves along with the prince to try to win back frankie's heart, even though thier plan failed at the sametime it helped out Frankie.

The first time I saw this episode, I was in stitches, spitting at my sides in laughter! I've always loved plots involving "puppy love", especially when it involves kids. Add imaginary friends, and it instantly became my favorite eipisode. Bloo is his usual funny self, but as his first appearance as "Orlando Bloo", he was so off-the-wall and random, it made it even funnier. And the whole plot line was so cute. I also loved "Princie", especially when he was dressed as a woman and yet still flirting with Frankie. She was so annoyed, and I felt for her, but, oh, I just couldn't help it! It's the funniest one out there (so far).
  • Probably the best cartoon that cartoon network has ever aired

Fosters Home for imaginary friends is probably the best ever cartoon that cartoon network has ever aired. Fosters have the best added jokes in the long running series and the season just keep on coming which is even better. Though some might say am too old to watch cartoon I still do and cartoons like this is really the reason why. Hopefully more seasons on the way and maybe a few more episodes on the girls of the show Frankie and coco ? However this episode is my all time favorite as it has Bloo , Frankie and Mac in it who are my favourite characters. Very funny episode with Bloo calling Mac a “kid” even if he is younger than Mac himself. Plus that pizza delivery guy is freaky but bring him back all the same…xxxx
  • I loved this episode! There was one thing confusing, though...

    9.7
    "Superb"
This was a great episode! They began a series of recurring jokes that characterize the show, and remembering the ridiculous circumstances they began in (due to Bloo\'s exuberance and excitement in all things exciting) makes it all the funnier. I do have one question, though. According to this episode, imaginary friends can\'t eat. Yet in other episodes, notably \"Dinner is Swerved,\" \"Cuckoo for Coco Cards,\" and others, imaginary friends eat. Bloo almost starves to death, and Edwardo eats a piece of broccoli. Yet Dylan uses the eating principle as a test to see if \"Orlando Bloo\" is a person or an imaginary friend. I love this episode, it was quite enjoyable, but that has always bothered me...
  • An awsome episode that I love. I nearly died laughing, and that's something considering my stern view towards cartoons

This episode must be the best episode I think I have seen to date, it's more funny than any other episode also and I think everything just blends together to make an awsome product! If I had my way more shows like Foster's should be on and less like...Here I go again on an irrelevent tangent, but anyway - I particularly like the bit in the resturaunt. From start till finish that scene just drives me insane with laughter. 'Orlando Bloo' is silly enough, but when 'princy' comes in dressed as a woman, it's just too much to bear. Oh man, it rocks...
  • Completely awesome episode!

When Mac helps Frankie organize paperwork and she gives him a kiss he falls in love with her, only to have Bloo fall in love with her too. And then when the pizza guy comes and Mac and Bloo get jealous, thinking that Frankie’s in love with him.

This episode is one of the best and definitely a series classic. One of the funniest scenes, in my opinion, was the one when Frankie’s on her date with Dylan and Bloo, Mac and the pizza delivery guy enter dressed as ‘Orlando Bloo’ with Prince Charming dressed up like a woman. That whole scene was LOL funny.

And of course, the end of the episode, when Frankie realizes what a jerk Dylan is and breaks up with him in a very ‘girl power’ fashion.

Overall, this episode is totally hilarious, completely flawless and one of best episodes of Foster’s.

I was laughing too hard at this episode. Mac falls in love with Frankie, then Bloo, then Chris, then Princy. They then argue over her. Then, Dillan shows up and takes Frankie on a date. They then work together to get her back. I like how Princy was disguised as a woman, Bloo, Mac, and Chris were disguised as a tall man, and Bloo saying that his name is "Orlando Bloo" which is of course a pun off of the name Orlando Bloom.

Watch this one. You will laugh sooooo hard!
  • A fun story that will have you laughing well after the ending.

This episode demonstrates how people can act in situations they probably haven't been in before. How they react to unexcepted events during all that is great, too. In this episode it just snowballs until the real threat is finally revealed and the answer to the problem is a funny one.

I like how they came up with the most silly way of dealing with the problem, I'm not even sure what they thought they would accomplish, but it was funny nonetheless. In the end it worked out exactly how it should have given the structure of the show they made.
  • One word: Funny!!!!

I just watched this episode, and I have to say, I laughed through the entire show! First, when Mac is organizing the paperwork and Frankie gives him a kiss, the goofy face he makes after is just hilarious; and when Bloo shows up and they both see Frankie dressed up, he also makes this goofy expression, and it's double the fun! My favorite part of the show is when the pizza delivery guy shows up and Mac and Bloo get jealous. So, when he starts to leave, Bloo starts telling him that Frankie is in love with him, making him return. Well, at the end of the episode, didn't Frankie find it weird that the pizza delivery guy was still there?!

One of the better episodes of the show

When everybody fell in love with Frankie

As they are trying to help her out

    There are the imiginary friends

    The pizza delivery guy

Mac and of course, her jerk of a date, rich spoiled brat Dylan

The others try to stop Frankie from making a mistake

And before the jerk Dylan ruins the date

Frankie hauls off and hits him

Very funny as I was laughing very out loud!

This episode was one of the best episodes of the series! It was very funny. The humor was well done, funny, and REALLY dirty, especially when the guy dressed up as a woman took Frankie into the bathroom to "powder their noses". Frankie was sexy in that black dress, that "Orlando Bloo" thing was also funny. It was funny when Bloo, Mac and the pizza guy dressed up as a tall man were trying to eat the steak. A must see episode of FHFIF!

  • This episode is really funny. That's why I like this episode. "Oh, silly me"(Bloo's line).

This episode is one of my favorites and I like this episode is because it is funny. I like the part when Mac, Bloo, and the pizza guy hides in the jacket and pretends like a man. That part was really funny. The most part that I like was when Frankie's boyfriend wants to make Mac, Bloo, and the pizza guy that hides in the jacket to eat the steak.

The first they got the spoon. The man(Mac, Bloo, and the pizza guy that hides in the jacket) said " Oh, silly me......". Then the man was finding the fork that don't know where it was(Mac or the pizza guy was finding the fork. They don't know where it was because they were hiding). Finall he got it. Then Bloo ate the steak. Frankie knew that it was Bloo. That part was really funny! So I like this episode.
  • Possibly the FUNNIEST of the show!!

    In this episode, we get to see the Lovey-Dovey sides of 4 People, includin Mac and Bloo. And here they are;

Bloo: Thinks Frankie would do anything to be with him! This is why he dresses up as "Orlando Bloo".

Mac: When Frankie calls him the bes, he thinks she's head over heels about him. Only reason he agrees with Bloo to dress up.

Chris the Pizza Dude: Thinks Frankie likes him after Bloo gags about him stealing her heart. Why he agrees to joi Bloo in the plot.

Prince Charming: Has really good lines of love and falls in love with Frankie at first sight. the only reason he agrees with Bloo is that so he can get close to Frankie!

When their plan fails, you can still see that they will keep on trying to get her effection no matter what!!!
  • One very funny episode, and indeed the first episode to focus on Frankie. Well done Lauren Faust!!!

    9.1
    "Superb"
Frankie My Dear is one of the very first episodes to focus on Frankie and not the others. While finishing helping Frankie sorting out some stuff, Frankie kisses Mac on the forehead. Mac suddenly falls in love with her. Then, Bloo disagrees with Mac until he sees her dress and thinks its HOT!

Minutes later, a teenager pizza delivery boy comes to the house. And once Frankie thanks him and gives him tip, he feels oozy with love too. Just then, Prince Charming, the first human imaginary friend to appear in the series falls in love with Frankie also! Now Mac, Bloo, Teenager guy and Prince Charming team up and go on Frankie's date.

Even if the episode had no other characters such as Coco, Wilt, Eduardo, Mr. Herriman and Mdm. Foster, this episode was done quite well and I am very glad at the way the humor was handled in this episode.

The guy who Frankie is dating with at first seemed quite come. Orlando Bloo comes and talks to frankie, and she knows that it is just Bloo. The part where Mac's hand is using a spoon to cut a steak is HILARIOUS! The ending made Frankie realise that there are people in love with her rather than her The ending was nice touch for Season 2.

This episode rocked. One day back on the old tvtome I was looking through the guide to see what ALL the episodes of Foster's,then I spotted it,I saw the title,"Frankie My Dear",and then looked at the synopsis and thought,"Ohhh I can't wait for this episode to air!",then realized,"Aw man,I have to wait ALL the way to March just to see this episode?WHAT?!",after I went through,PISSS,TBL,WTAWTAW/EKIB,SFSE/BB and CD,I finnaly got to this episode and thought,"That episode rocked!",and boy did Frankie look sexy in both the pink and black dresses,(well I thought she looked sexier in the pink one). And man did she beat the crap out of Dylan in the end. While I do agree with Star_Blaster that this episode could have been a little better,I thought it was great.Overall,if the previous season 2 episodes didn't get your attention, this one will.
  • Pretty good.

    7.7
    "Good"
Even though the entire episode is all love and kissing, sexy stuff and all, it was good. I enjoyed the paper-ball fight. That was good. And the dinner scene made me laugh my head off. I burst out laughing when Bloo was trying to eat the steak. "Now to lift it up into my mouth' that line was funny.

The Orlando Bloo costume was good too. That big black fake moustache looked really distinguished. I wish I had one of them! It would be great to use in the school play we are doing at my school!

But it isn't just good. It's really sexy and lovey. Frankie endlessly kisses Mac, and it has all these boyfriends, dates, fighting over love, ect. It's like an episode for teenagers (like 16 or 17).

Overall, good episode, good storline, funny scenes. Could have been better though.

  • Mac and Bloo develope a crush on Frankie! And the rest is self explanitory.

Another great episode written by Lauren Faust, its very clever, wel plotted, and I loved the part when 'Orlando Bloo' tries to bend over to pick up his mustache. It was simply hilarious! I would never get tired of watching this episode, this is also one of those episodes I could watch over and over and over again.
  • "So, did Frankie tell you how we met? I was over studying at Millionaire School, learning how to be a millionaire, which was silly, really, because I'd already received a gazillion dollars in the paddleball business. I just wanted to get my degree...

...And Frankie was working at the local roller derby, and I just so happened to be attending the roller derby regionals. And I couldn't help but notice her. So after the game, I went up to her and said, 'Hey, baby. I'm a gazillionaire'."

And that was probably the hardest I've laughed at a cartoon in my entire life. The traditional set-up which features a bundle of characters all head-over-heels for somebody of the opposite sex in a competition for love is one of the biggest cliches seen on TV. Yet in this episode, it was done so originally and hysterically, it didn't even matter. The episode begins with a simple misunderstanding between Mac and Frankie, sending him into delusions. Bloo soon befalls the same fate, and the two quarrel upon hearing that Frankie has found the man of her dreams. The duo then become suspicious of everyone, thwarting every single man Frankie comes in contact with, including a poorly-educated pizza delivery boy with a million zits (whom Bloo refers to as "a perfect specimen of manliness") and an imaginary Prince Charming with horrible pick-up lines. Eventually, they find out who her REAL date is, and the foursome band together in a devilish plot.

The final act takes us to the restaurant scene, which is arguably the funniest sequence in the entire series. Bloo dons a coat and mustache under the alias "Orlando Bloo", stacked on top of Mac and Chris (pizza boy) for support. Along with him is his "date", Princey, who is forced to disguise himself as a woman. The gang stumbles upon Frankie and her date, both of which are very surprised and pissed to see them. Bloo, in a disguised voice, begins making up all kinds of BS about how he's been dating Frankie for 20 years, despite the fact that she's only 22. In an attempt to sabotage her date, Princey (or "Prissy" now) grabs Frankie and hauls her off to the bathroom to "powder their noses". While Frankie beats Princey to a bloody pulp, her date reveals himself as the jerk he truly is.
  • Frankie my Dear, is, everything a Foster's episode should contain.

    9.6
    "Superb"
This episode is everything that I've come to love and expect from Foster's. It's funny, clever, and even a bit revealing.

As Mac and Bloo develop a crush on the 22 year old Frankie, they stop at nothing to win her love. They meet other lovestricken victims, and in the long run, aid Mac and Bloo in defeating Frankie's real date.

NObody can watch this epy without, more or less, laughing hystarically. Bloo gives a spledid performance and in combination with the charcter development, creates the best Foster's episode to date.

    'Nuff said.
  • It's ok. It's just a little too girly and sexy.

Many people find this episode one of their favorites. I liked this episode, but people being in love with others seems a little too "girly and sexy" to me (Which gives you the idea that I am a male). Otherwise this is a great episode. SoI give this a 6/10 rating.

The best part is when Bloo is talking about Millionaire School when Frankie keeps kicking whats-his-face. A very funny episode, especially how an 8-year-old kid and 5-year-old blue thing is turned on to a 22-year-old girl. Then Bloo blabs to the pizza guy, and the three of them are fighting. Then princey shows up, and the three must team up to beat him. When the real date shows up, the four must take Frankie back!
  • This was the first episode of Foster's I ever saw, but not the last!!!

This isn't much of a review, but there was one scene in this episode where Bloo was dressed up in a trench coat trying to be someone else and he started talking trying to impress Frankie's date. He started talking about meeting Frankie at "Millionaire School" and how ridiculously inaccurate his math was when talking about how long he had known Frankie... basically I was laughing so hard my mom came in the room to ask if something was wrong.

    I just couldn't stop laughing!

  • Another great episode from the Foster's team and the talented Lauren Faust.

    10
    "Perfect"
My favourite episode of all the Foster's. This was greatly written and plotted by the talented Lauren Faust. Also greatly directed. This, like every episode in season 1, was a legend in the making. What can I say? Even though it was a Frankie episode Bloo gave the preformance of a life time. When season 2 was slowly sliding downhill (and I do mean slowly) this episode brought it straight back up. All I can say is wow! You gotta see it to belive it.
  • Foster's writer and fiancée of creator/director McCracken, Lauren Faust, did a brilliant job writing this Frankie-centric episode. Do not leave your seats, people!

    9.7
    "Superb"
Here, we have an episode that focuses primarily on Frankie. She, Mac, and Bloo are the only main characters that appear on "Frankie My Dear", and things were executed quite well. Things begin with Frankie chatting with one of her human friends (named Cathy) via telephone, and she felt bummed that she couldn't go anywhere. Herriman had her filing the paperwork, instead. Mac said that he would offer to do them, and that it wasn't a problem...saying the he does his mother's bank statements all the time. Frankie was full of joy, and she gave Mac a kiss on the cheek. Mac felt like he was in another world.

While still feeling like a cupid's arrow had striked him, Mac was still trying to do the filing. Bloo was wondering what's going on. Mac was saying how Frankie was the greatest, and Bloo responded by revealing a few things about her that were negative. Moments later, Frankie came downstairs to reveal a pink outfit. Mac and Bloo were stammering, while looking at her. Before walking out the door, Frankie blew a kiss at Mac, however, Bloo caught it with his hand. Things get nasty in a hurry, the two boys fight over Frankie's kiss.

The next day, Mac arrived at the mansion, still angry over Bloo stealing that kiss from him. Frankie answered the door, and she was explaing to Mac that she was in love with someone. Mac assumed that Frankie was talking about him. Mac went to tell Bloo about it. Bloo responded that he was the best, and he also told Mac that he's just a kid, even though Bloo is statistically younger than Mac by three years. Someone rings the doorbell, and a pizza delivery guy shows up (we learn that his name is Chris, later in the episode). Bloo pointed out how Chris had some of the things Bloo himself and Mac do not have. Mac and Bloo started to believe that neither of them were meant to be with Frankie, but with Chris, instead. Therefore, the two boys come up with a plan to stop the pizza man.

Mac and Bloo tossed balls of paper at Chris, and he was about to depart. Something Bloo shouted stopped Chris from exiting, and he thought that Frankie was meant for him...feeling the love. So, Chris came back in the home, while Bloo and Mac were tossing paper balls at him until they ran out. Frankie was wondering what the heck is going on. She gave Chris the money to for the pizzas, and asked Bloo and Mac to show him the way out. Chris pulls all the hair back, and uses mouth freshener for his breath. He was about to tell Frankie how much he cared for her, but the two boys tackled Chris and continued to fight until someone else approached the door. Once again, it appeared that there's another man in the house. This time, it was Prince Charming (who is actually an imaginary man). The three guys pointed out some of the imaginary man's characteristics.

Frankie explained Prince Charming about Foster's, and that he's welcome to stay. Prince Charming fell in love with Frankie and said a few 'good' lines, which impressed Bloo, Mac, and Chris. Frankie, however, was not impressed with them. Moments later, the three guys attacked Prince Charming. Once again, a doorbell was heard. Could this be the man of Frankie's dreams? Indeed, it was. The name's Lee, Dylan Lee. The four guys couldn't believe it. They all come up with another plan, this time to stop Dylan.

So, the come up with a plan...Chris, Mac, and Bloo are disguised as one tall man (Bloo being the face, plus mustache), and Prince wore a dress being the date. PC did not like this idea at all. Even though none of them had reservations, they still got themselves in the restaurant. Dylan and Frankie were seated at the table (while Frankie was explaining to Dylan about her career), and then the others showed up. Frankie recognized that face of the tall man (knowing that he was Bloo). Bloo replied with the disguised voice, telling Frankie to call him "Orlando Bloo" (a parody of the name, Orlando Bloom). So, Bloo....or should I say...Orlando Bloo, was telling Dylan a story (that never happened) that he had been dating Frankie for 20 years, before breaking up (or since she was 2), and he explained how he's a gazillionaire. Prince Charming was kissing Frankie's hand, and showing her how much he loved her. Frankie was not impressed. Both Frankie and PC went to the lady's room, where PC got the crud kicked out of him.

Dylan found out that this "Orlando Bloo" character was a joke, revealing Bloo, Mac, and Chris. Dylan was pretty mad, and told the three that Frankie could never fall in love with a dork, a kid, and a thing. Frankie heard a lot of what Dylan said to the guys, and she was definitely 'hot' (as in furious). Dylan tried to convince her, but Frankie gave him a nosebleed and an atomic wedgie.

At the end, Frankie, Mac, Bloo, and even Chris and Prince Charming were seated, eating pizza. Mac and Bloo were saying how Frankie got Dylan good. Frankie pointed out that he wore briefs, and said he was a dork. Each of the guys explained that they weren't men, and Bloo said that he can compete with that.

Anyway, this was a treat. Ms. Faust wrote a superb episode, which brought lots of laughs and fun. I seriously doubt it could have been better with the other major character participating.
