This part was well written like i said in my classification. It was just so funny when Bloo saw the door and acted like he didn't wana know what was inside. Then Bloo finds that the Scribbles can do any work one at a time. Bloo is just awesome, and his scribble was awesome too. That guy puts his tung out when Bloo taps his finger. Forsters home is one of the nicest cartoons i have watched in Cartoon Network and this episode will make my word true. All and all the episode was funny with everyone first trying to get rid of the scribbles and the other minute they can't have enough of them.
The imaginery friends were on the cleaning duty. While "cleaning the air" bloo found a door witch says DO NOT OPEN!He tried to open the door but Frankia and Mr.Herriman stopped him.He tried to force everyone to tell him about the "secret door" but noone wouldnt tell him.He went tottaly crazy over night and he opend the door! From it three floating balls came out. Then a millions of them. When Mac came tommorow said that the balls were imaginery friends and they were created by babies.Mac and Bloo stopped them from trapping scribbles.Soon Mac found out they could be used for help so everyone got lazy in the house.REALLY LAZY!Mr.Herriman and Mac were disapointed and they deciced to put scribbless for adoptioan. The little imaginary friends were adopted very soon.
Bloo finds a door he has never seen before. As soon as Bloo goes to open it.Frankie and Mr.Herriman stop him and warn him.The door had scribbles that are NOT allowed in Fosters when frankie was a little girl. Now bloo goes around asking for secrets. Then at night Bloo opens it and floods the House with Scribbles.

They had a way to keep you entertatined by not telling you what was the secret of the secret door until righ before the comercial brake. Then they made you wpnder what was going to happen to the Scribbles to keep you entertained. If you ask me it was ok. It wasn't that clever yet it wasn't stupid either. I really don't know. Imaganary friends made by babies? What the...? I really don't know why anyone would adopt a scribble besides the fact that they do 1 thing and beside that ione thing they're useless. Whatever I guess it was alright.
When Bloo learns about a secret door in Foster’s home, he is determined to open it to see what’s inside. However, everyone else forbids him from opening the secret door, since it contains a big secret inside that no one should ever discuss. This just makes Bloo even more determined, so he finally opens the door to find small creatures called scribbles. Are these imaginary creatures playful or harmful? You have to watch the episode to find out.
This was another good installment to the series. The scene where Bloo asks other imaginary friends about the secret door in various ways was hilarious, and so was the scene where everyone gets lazy because of scribbles. I enjoyed watching this episode because of its good humor and the perfect way in which they ended the storyline of the scribbles.
The Trouble With Scribbles: Bloo finds out about a secret door that everyone is not supposed to open. Bloo tries to ask everyone about the secret door but they won't tell. So Bloo dreams about the door so he wakes up and quickly opens it. There, he sees scribbles. But the scribbles are many! And they scatter all over the place. How will Blooa nd the rest take out the scribbles?
This episode was sooo funny!!! I loved when Bloo was crazy about the secret door!!! Also, it was unlike Mr. Harriman to not want the Scribbles to be free. This episode had lots of comed that made me laugh out loud! It was amazing to see what the all Scribbles could do because each had a special power! Bloo acted self centered and treated all of the Scribbles as slaves, and everyone else did! Anyway, this episode was one of the best!!!
Okay. The reason why this story scored so high in my book was because the second half was so funny.
The beginning, on the other hand, was not so great and too unrealistic. If you had a room in your house filled with little floating beings, would you leave it unlocked? And what's the big deal about a room filled with babys' imaginary friends called scribbles anyway? Why is that a secret? Especially when all the vetern friends know about it.
Yeah, to me that's all a waste of time. Bloo walking all around the house asking every friend about this silly secret door. Boooriing. Just lock the door with a key and tell him what's inside. Oh well, that's the whole point of the story; if they lock the door Bloo wouldn't be able to open it, and if they tell him what's inside then he probably wouldn't want to open it--unless he wanted to see what they look like.
And I didn't think it made much sense that Coco was pretty much the first one Bloo asked about the secret door since she was standing right there when he was told that the door is secret, and she's also the last one he asked about and he says, "Oh, so that's what's the secret of the secret door," and she says something, and he says, "What do you mean what secret door?!"
Finally with my issues with the episode, is the beginning where Bloo is being a jerk with the air freshing spray. But he is, indeed, kind of funny nonetheless.
Well, the second half was pretty funny. With Mac and Bloo trying to keep all the scribbles free while everyone else is trying to get them all back into the room. Freedom!
When they find out that the scribbles will do simple tasks for you (as long as you only have one job per scribble) everyone just gets so lazy. This is a perfect example of how some advanced technology in real life allows us to be lazy good-for-nothings. Of course being a cartoon, they go too far: Bloo snaps his fingers and says to a scribble refering to Mac, "Go play with the boy," so he can continue lounging on a couch/bed of scribbles.
If you want to watch this episode, maybe you should skip the beginning, but if you do watch the whole story, don't have high expectations from the start.
The scribbles are imaginary friends made up by babies... They don't speak or do anything, in fact, they look like floating dust balls. Bloo, being the curious character that he is, opened the forbidden door letting all of the scribbles out and discovered their power! The scribbles would do only one task given, but only one. Bloo made the scribbles do everything for him, like fetch food or something to eat, and keeping him cool with a fan!
Frankie took advantage of them as well, making them clean the toilets and wash clothes. Unfortunately, Mr. Herriman made them give them up for adoption.
PS> How come they didn't create more scribbles? but even better ones?
This episode is very good and funny. Here are some lines that I like and funny in this episode:
Mac: Bloo stop it (coughing)! your not cleaning.
Frankie: Yeah you're not cleaning! (coughing).
Bloo: Oh yeah, I'm cleaning the air (spraying).
Mac or Frankie: So go clean somewherelse (still coughing)! That is the funny part. Also the one when Bloo was asking all the imaginary friends what is in the secret door and also when Bloo was thinking about what is it in the secret door. He can't sleep so he tried to open the secret door. That parts of this episode for me are really funny.
When Bloo opens a doro that is supposed to remain shut, he releases hundreds of useless scribble imaginary friends. Everyone finds out that they are pretty helpful, but eventually they must get adopted out.
I really liked this episode, especially near the beginning. Bloo was particularly hilarious in this episode, and I loved watching these little glowing scribbles floating around. The Trouble With Scribbles seems like one of the several episodes that had a lot of time put into it, because it was a lovely episode! It was very entertaining and has a good storyline, a very good episode to watch if you're bored. However, it's not reccomended that you watch it if you don't like screaming scribbly things. Mac ought to start a club called PETS, People for the Ethical Treatment of Scribbles. :P
The Trouble With Scribbles wasnt a great episode of Fosters. It was the first episode in the series that I saw so I wasnt very impressed with it. Anyway, most fans would have liked the first 7 minutes of the episode because it was funny and good. The friends' ignorance to Bloo's question was kinda cruel but I believe they had to do it.
The rest of the episode was not very good for most fans. The part when Mac was talking to Bloo wasnt interesting to me. And, the ending was quite alright although I felt Mr. herriman should have given these scribbles a long time ago.
So, I would not recommend you to judge the series after one episode, which means if you see this episode first, watch another episode like the next one "Seeing Red/Phone Home" and the next one.
I liked this episode. The only thing I didn't like was that ending.I thought it was really disgusting seeing Bloo and the scribble blow rasberries at eachother. But it was still great.I never get bored watching this episode, unlike other people.Even though I do agree that this episode could have been a little better,I still liked it.Overall,i'd give this episode a 9.1/10.
"The Trouble With Scribbles" isn't generally considered a fan favorite, mainly due to its inconsistancies in quality. For one, the first half of the episode is actually fairly strong. Yes, it's also fairly cliched, with Bloo's overwhelming curiosity eventually causing mayhem throughout the entire house, but it has its moments. The flashback with baby Frankie opening the door is one of the most adorable scenes ever, and Bloo being the only one not driven to pure insanity by the Scribbles is all too amusing.
Then Mac enters the scene and the episode goes downhill. FAST. Bloo eventually convinces the rest of the household that the Scribbles can come in handy, which makes everyone (including Herriman) use them to do their slavework. Mac just so happens to ruin the party by preaching about how treating the Scribbles as slaves is wrong. Basically, he becomes Arnold from "Hey, Arnold", who I can't stand. Mac crosses the line with his hippie preaching and sets freedom to all the Scribbles in the household, all of which are eventually adopted, save for Bloo's favorite, which simply spits out its tongue. Wretched ending.
Still, the episode deserves some props for a few moments in the first two acts.
It went pretty well until Bloo and the scribble are blowing raspberries at each other. Then it ends as Bloo blows one at us, spitting saliva everywhere. Yuck. This episode semmed to bore me a bit. And I don't understand why Bloo's wasn't aloud to know what was behind the door. It's not like he was going to open it. Frankie would have warned him when she told him, like this:
"Bloo, the room behind door contains millions of tiny scribbles. Scribbles are imaginary friends that attack people and flood the house. If you open it, you will kill everyone. Believe me, Bloo, they're like a tiday wave, ready to drown us! So don't open the door!"
By just not telling him would tempt him more. He wouldn't know what was behind it and would want to see for himself. If he was told and warne,d he wouldn't open it. Trust me. Overall, not a very good episode.
bloo learns about a secret door in the house, thing is no one is allowed to opened it. Even with Mr.H's rule that doesn't stop him. He opens it and trouble begins to pour out of the door.
what i liked about this episode is the flashback. Showing a younger frankie apologizing to Mr. H about opening the Secreat door. ILiked how the present day Mr. H said "well, sowwy is not enough." or something like that. also the part where bloo meets up with an imaginary freind whom he thinks that tells him about the door, but the freind doesn't tell him anything.
This is one of those episodes I adored! The first time I saw it, I loved it! The second time I saw it, I got a little tiny bit bored with it, but when I saw it the third time, I wished I could watch it every day!!!
I think it is just SOOOO incredibly precious that the scribbles are made by babies!! And that scene where Frankie's just a baby and she says 'sowwy Mr. Herriman' made me smile!! It was so cute!
I was really laughing when Bloo did his little "Mac's in Trouble" dance!!! ^^__^^ And Bloo was just plain sexy when he was dancing to that music!!!!!!!!! :D
I loved this episode a bunch! I've got it recorded and I wanna watch it again now!!! ^_^
Fosters is very reminiscent of the early Muppet Shows. Every time you watch an episode, you get something different out of it. I realize I might be a bit old for their demographic, but this episode epitomizes why I love this show. From the moment Bloo starts obsessing about the story of the secret of the secret door to the last scribble, I am hooked.
This is about the only episode I've seen where I didn't want to strangle Bloo after 10 minutes. To me, it finally struck the perfect harmony between Bloo’s self-absorption and the comedy of the situation. Also, I love how Mac goes from being enforcer to instigator. Nice bit of character development all around.
The dialogue, as always, is just brilliant. I’m not sure what these writers’ backgrounds are, but Craig Lewis sure does pack a punch. “Doing stuff is so twelve hours ago” is now the theme of our household. This truly is pop culture at its best.
The Trouble With Scribbles is a not the one of the more entertaining episodes in the Foster's series. The Trouble With Scribbles is when Bloo finds out about a secret door. Plenty of the friends in this house have heard tales of the secret door but its forbidden. But will this stop Bloo, not at all. Bloo gos on a rampage and opens up the door to finds little black squiggly things known as scribbles. Scribbles are considered bad friends made by babys but help out with every day chores. People in the house start to get attached to the scribbles and become very lazy. The scribbles are such a hit that people want to adopt them instead. In the end all the scribbles are gone except for one. Bloo's favorite.
