      • All-Star Revue was a victim of its budget more than its ratings. With a weekly cost of $60,000, it was one of TV's priciest programs. That proved problematic for keeping sponsors when more affordable shows were pulling comparable or higher ratings. The series received a surprise reprieve in the fall when a variety show was needed to fill in for You Show of Shows one week a month.
