Jimmy Durante hosts this week's show. His guests include Helen Traubel, Bill Baird's Marionettes, acrobats Harris and Anders, Douglas Coudy Dancers, Jack Albertson, character actor Dort Clark, his vaudeville partner Eddie Jackson, Jack Roth and Jules Buffano.
In a white fright wig, Durante is to conduct Traubel in her performance of an aria from Lohengrin. After throwing of the sheet music and horsing around, she performs the piece and the two perform "A Real Piano Player" and "Bill Bailey".moreless
