Thanksgiving Day (2001)
AIRED:
Join James Brown, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Cris Collinsworth as they get you ready for the annual Thanksgiving Day game on FOX. This year the game is in Detroit where NFC Central rivals take center stage, as the Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are looking for their first division title since 1997 as they travel to Detroit to take on the Lions. It's the Lions running game led by Jimmy Stewart against the Packers defense, and then Brett Favre leads the Packers offense against the Lions defense which has been in the top half of the league all season. The FOX NFL Sunday panel discusses how this could be the last opportunity that the Lions have of making the postseason, with the Bears having a surprise season so far, and the Packers and Vikings are always in the postseason mix. Can Detroit steal one at home against the heavily favored Packers? The FOX crew explains how that is possible.moreless
