The guy sitting next to Traveling Matt is none other than his own puppeteer, Dave Goelz! There's even an obvious fake arm attached to his right shoulder. This is because his real right arm (covered by a black sleave, which blends in with the black rollercoaster seats) was already performing Matt, and they had make it look like Dave was never performing Matt at all.
