  • Franklin and Bear get posion ivy after they fall of there skateboards / Franklin loses Gordie, thanks to his sister.

    3.1
This must be not the greatest episode of Franklin. I just watched this episode on Noggin this morning, and I don't know what Franklin is teaching young children these days.

In the first episode, Franklin Itching to Skateboard is when Franklin and Bear get posion ivy on their legs and some around their body. And they keep itching. And they don't tell their mother. Not a great example.

In the next episode, Franklin Forgives. Franklin loses Gordie in a pond, after his sister trips the bowl and falls in the pond. And I don't want happened to poor nice Franklin. He got all mean and grouchy. And it puts me to a 3.1, because not the best episode, or the greatest finale season premiere.moreless

    • Beaver: (seeing Franklin and Harriet hugging) Uh, did I miss something?
Franklin: Oh, hi Beaver. Harriet was lost, but we found her.
Beaver: Good. And I found something too. (holds out Goldie in a cup of water)
      Franklin: Goldie!
      Harriet: Goldie, Goldie.
Beaver: I saw her swim by our basement window.
Franklin: How did you know it was Goldie?
Beaver: You don't see a lot of goldfish by a dam, Franklin.

    • Mrs. Turtle: Harriet isn't in her room. Franklin, Have you seen her?
Franklin: No. (notices that Goldie's fish bowl is missing) But I think I know where.

    • Franklin: (to Harriet) I'll forgive you for losing Goldie, if you'll forgive me for being so rotten to you yesterday.
Harriet: We forgive us. (She hugs him.)

    • Franklin: You're not old enough to go alone, Harriet. What if we lost you? That would be a million times worse than losing Goldie.
      Harriet: Really?
      Franklin: Really.

    • Franklin: You want me to forgive and forget too?
Mr. Turtle: No, just the forgive part. As for forgetting, well I'm sure you'll never forget Goldie.
Franklin: All right, I'll think about it.
Mr. Turtle: Thanks, Franklin. Good night.

    • Bear: It's like my Dad says, "Sometimes you have to forgive and forget."
Franklin: But I don't wanna forget Goldie!

    • Bear: Don't you think you're being too hard on Harriet?

    • Franklin: Look, I know you're doing all this 'cause you feel bad about losing Goldie. But you don't have to. (Bear and Beatrice look hopeful.) It's not like it's gonna bring Goldie back. (Bear and Beatrice look shocked.)
      Beatrice: (gasps)
      Bear: Huh?! That's it!
Franklin: Bear? I-I thought you went home.

    • Bear: I know what we have to do. We've got to get Franklin to forgive you. Then you'll both feel better.
      Harriet: Okay.

    • Harriet: Where Goldie?
      Franklin: I didn't find her.
      Harriet: Oh. I sorry.
Franklin: Well, sorry doesn't help me find Goldie!
      Bear: Franklin!

    • Bear: (trying to comfort Franklin) Maybe Goldie's doing some sightseeing. Maybe she's met some friendly minnows or tadpoles.

    • Mr. Turtle: (to Harriet) It's okay, sweetie. It's okay.
Franklin: It's not okay! Goldie's lost! She's all alone in this huge pond!

    • Narrator: Franklin could count by twos and tie his shoes. He liked to go on picnics with his Mom and Dad and his sister, Harriet. But one day, he brought along a special friend too.

    • Franklin: Bear and I won't be skateboarding for a while.
Fox: Did you guys get grounded?
      Franklin: No, we grounded ourselves.
      Fox: Huh?

    • Bear: That's what happened.
Ants. Red ants. And boy do they nip.

    • Bear: How are we going to dig up potatoes without scratching?
Franklin: Just keep both hands on the shovel and don't think about it.

    • Beaver: This is ridiculous.
Fox: Yeah, what's with you guys?
      Bear: My legs are itchy.
      Franklin: Yeah, mine too.
Fox: Maybe you walked in some poison ivy.

    • Narrator: Franklin could count by twos and tie his shoes. He knew that he could always share his concerns with his parents, but one day something happened that Franklin didn't tell them.
