  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • The following quotes are from "Franklin's Allergy".

    • Narrator: Franklin could count by twos and tie his shoes. He could stop his bicycle and he could stop a soccer ball. But one day, Franklin couldn't stop sneezing.

    • Franklin: Why don't I just sit at the table, Beaver?
Beaver: Because if you started sneezing, how could I tell which sample you're allergic to?
      Franklin: Oh yeah. Good point.

    • Franklin: No! I don't want to try it!
Beaver: Franklin, isn't it better to know everything you're allergic to?
Franklin: Not if it's cookies! Achoo!

    • Bear: I'll just have to stay covered in mud forever.
      Franklin: You said it.

    • The following quotes are from "Franklin the Teacher".

    • Narrator: Franklin could count by twos and tie his shoes. He could show his little sister how to blow bubbles and how to play tag. But one day, Franklin decided it was time to teach her more important things.

    • Bear: Yup. She knows her numbers all the way up to five.
Rabbit: How did she learn that?
      Bear: I taught her!

    • Franklin: Our first lesson is counting.
      Harriet: Huh? Counting?

    • Harriet: Moo, moo!
Franklin: It's a cow, Harriet! Remember?
      Harriet: Cow.

  • Notes

    • This episode and others seem to indicate that Mr. Turtle is the "handyman" of the house, but in "Franklin Rides a Bike", Mrs. Turtle is seen hammering a nail into a fence-post without any help.

    • The events of "Franklin the Teacher" take place either during a school vacation or partly on a weekend, since Franklin does "school" with Harriet at nine in the morning, the time when he would normally be in school himself, were it a school day.

    • "Franklin the Teacher / Franklin's Allergy" will aired formally for the first time in the United States on Noggin on March 22. Thus, the airdate listed reflects the first U.S. airing of the episode. Previously, the episode had only been seen on Canada's Family Channel and in other foreign markets. It will be followed on Noggin by the remaining episodes of the fifth season. Please note that Noggin has chosen to air the episodes out of order and the episode order in the guide has been rearranged to reflect this. To see the original order, check the production numbers.
