Frasier states, "The last time we saw each other she wanted to have a little reunion hug, but, alas, I was still married to Lilith and settling for my weekly handshake", referring to Cheers episode "One Hugs, The Other Doesn't".

Emma Thompson's "nanny issues" that she cited as being the reason for her backing out of reprising her role of Nanny G, most likely had to do with her signing to play the star role in the 2005 film, "Nanny McPhee".

This episode, along with "Freudian Sleep", won the 2004 Emmy for Outstanding Art Direction for a Multi-Camera Series.
