Diane: Don't feel bad. She tried to kill me once.
Hester: Oh, not this paranoia again!
Diane: You had a GUN!
Daphne: There's a lid for every pot.
Hester: I was too busy being dead.
Tushka Bergen (Miranda), Lindsay Frost (Samantha), Cynthia Lamontagne (Annie), Gigi Rice (Regan), Claire Stansfield (Kristina), Shannon Tweed (Honey), Lisa Waltz (Tricia) and Claire Yarlett (Vicky) were credited as "Special Appearances".
At the end of the episode, Frasier tells Martin he learned something important about himself on his retreat. Martin, who was on his way out to a movie with Niles and Daphne, says "Great! Let's roll!" This may have been an allusion to Todd Beamer, who was killed in the September 11th attacks two weeks earlier.
In one scene Frasier opens the door of the cabin and there are lots of women there. They all wave and smile, saying, "Hi Frasier!" etc. Frasier shuts the door. Diane asks, "What was that?" and Frasier says, "It's every woman I've ever dated!" Although this isn't quite true, nine actresses who have played girlfriends of Frasier were called to the stage for that five-second shot.
Originally broadcast as part of a one-hour episode.
Dedicated as follows: "In loving memory of our friends Lynn and David Angell". Both died in the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Diane: (To Nanette, about Hester) She tried to kill me once.
This alludes to the Season 3 Cheers episode, "Diane Meets Mom", in which Hester (played by Nancy Marchand) threatens to kill Diane if she won't leave Frasier alone.
The episode title is an appropriate allusion to George Bernard Shaw's play Don Juan in Hell, which deals with the legendary lothario examining his life.
