My least favorite episodes were (all) the ones that found Frasier unemployed. They were painful (for me) to watch because I found most of them poorly written. One particularly "painful" episode featured the cast at a park and several (supporting) cast members (conveniently)got jobs one after the other (ouch). However, these episodes I can forgive because the good ones (and there are many) certainly outweigh the bad in terms of content, writing, wardrobe...on so many levels this show was just fantastic.

Oh my god, I just spent 10 minutes looking through all these posts praying noone had already said the unemployment ones, and then the second last post ruins it! haha...

Yeah I agree. When I watch the show I usually just skip over that entire Frasier-without-a-job arc.

I'll admit, that's one of my favourites- along with Enemy at the Gate and The Doctor is Out.

My least favourite... It's a hard choice between the one with Cliff's retirement, or the one where everybody is in the hospital waiting on Niles' surgery.

Without a doubt, the Cliff Claven Retirement episode. It was really, really horrible.
As if the Frasier show was giving some charity tv time to the WHOLE Cheers gang.
The jokes were forced and the whole flow of the episode was wrong. I change the
channel when it shows up in re-runs!!!!

Yeah I saw that one and I did not laugh, chuckle or smile once; which is unusual for a Frasier episode.

Most of season 8, except for a select few.

    The Impossible Dream

    Freudian Sleep

The one where they are running around Seattle for 'Frasier Crane Day', I forget the title.

    War Of The Words

The one with Cliff's retirement dinner

And I think there are a few others but I forget what.

Agree the ones with Mel were not good. I also preferred ones which focused on the apartment, radio station, or coffee shop. I also was not a fan of the Julia character.

I just thought of another -- the one where his girlfriend takes on the "look" of the coach. That one drove me nuts.
