In Ep 188 (The Wizard And Roz) Daphne calls in a  Spookloogist called Dr. Morey (played by Fisher Stevens) to prove that she is psychic. We are not given Dr. Morey's first name. Dr. Morey tells Niles that he is a professor of psychiatry. In Friends Season One Episode Thirteen, Phoebe dates a psychiatrist named Roger (who pisses of the rest of the Friends gang by analysing their every move) (played by Fisher Stevens). We are not given his last name. Perhaps this is not deliberate (in fact, it probably isn't) but it's quite cool, don't you think?

Not really, but I do think Frasier and Friends are set in the same universe.

Niles Crane and Chandler Bing have both appeared in episodes of Caroline in the City.

Although if you want to get technical, that means Friends is set in the same universe as 'Cheers', although in one Friends episode Joey watched an episode of Cheers...

    Ahhhh! Twilight-Zoney. o.o;

Perhaps Cheers was the world's first reality TV show and no one knew it.

All of the following Show are in the same "universe":

    Seinfeld

    Mad About You

    Friends

    Joey

    Murphy Brown

    Cheers

    Frasier

    The Tortellis

    St. Elsewhere

    Wings

    The Bob Newhart Show

    Newhart

    Caroline in the City

    The Simpsons

    The Single Guy

    Coach

These are all related through Spin offs and cross overs.  There is of course contradictions with these shows for example:

On Seinfeld Kramer appears in an episode of Murphy Brown

    On Friends Joey watches Cheers

Also many actors have appeared in a number of these shows playing different characters

How the heck are all these shows related?! Can you give an example? (besides the obvious ones, like Friends and Joey)

the last episode of Newhart made the show no longer exsistent it doesn't belong on this list. It is not in the same universe since it was a dream sequence.

sure...but how many times? they almost all have only one crossover and only in one episode, except the whole Ursula thing with Mad About You and Friends

Also, in an episode of Seinfeld, George is watching an episode of Mad About You. So, the shows do cross-over, but also make mistakes like that.

And if we were to include Simpsons, then we can include a number of shows like The X-Files, Law & Order, Picket Fences, MacGyver, and so many other shows.
