    Okay long story.....

When I was at university we started a society called 'The Downright Dirty Pornstars' and therefore when we went out on the town we all had a society t-shirt printed. On the back of the shirt we had to have our nickname. I had 'DHP Lover' and the number 9 put on the back of mine - hence my name here

In 2003 I went to see Frasier filmed for the second time - The Babysitter Season Eleven Episode Four. At the last possible moment when leaving the hotel to attend the filming I grabbed my shirt and put it on. During the filming I was sitting on one of the aisles in the middle. After the first scene during the costume changes the warm up guy walked past me. Moments later he tapped me on my shoulder and asked if my shirt meant what he thought it did. I said yes it does, which is when he made me stand up and show the audience.

At that exact moment David Hyde Pierce and Jane Leeves sat down on Frasier's couch directly opposite me as they were getting ready for the next scene. Suddenly the warm up guy (whose name escapes me) shouted "Hey David, have you seen this ladies shirt?"

At this point the blood started thundering past my ears with embarrassment.

He said no he couldn't because he didn't have his glasses. So it was read out to him, he replied by saying "You've got excellent taste, but I don't think I deserve a nine"

Jane Leeves along with the audience nearly wet themselves laughing. I was mortified!

I also met David Hyde Pierce after a performance of Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks in LA in 2001, but I like the other story more. He seemed a really nice guy. In fact going about their work on set they all seemed really nice people.

The name of the warmup man was David Willis.

You are sooo lucky DHP Lover to have had the chance of seeing an episode of Frasier being filmed, it would have been good if they had filmed a couple of episodes in England ( where I live ), perhaps visitig Daphne's parents.

I live in England as well mate. I've been to LA just to see it filmed twice. Let's just say I have too much time and money on my hands! Plus I'm a film & TV student so I claimed it was for research purposes

I know it's brilliant isn't it. I can spend all day watching Frasier and when people tell me I should be working my response is "I am working!"

I also had a week off before Easter to sit on the bleachers at the Oscars. Once again I claimed I was missing important lectures for "research purposes"

Hey, I meet David Hyde Pierce on Sunday in Los Angeles after the last showing of 'Curtains'. He was VERY nice and signed our programs. My sister and I brough our 'Frasier' DVDs, Seasons 1 and 11 for him to sign. After we got our picture taken with him, he started to leave but I chased him down the block cuz we forgot to pull out the DVDs. I stopped him and asked him to sign and he gladly did with a smile. It was great!

Yes it was Gil. He was actually American. It surprised me, not to mention he was pretty much the average Joe and same with David and both of them were really really nice.

They both signed my sister's and my programs and David stuck around to sign our Frasier DVDS that we brough and took a picture with us

Ahh, you're so lucky! He sounds very nice. I have to say though in the special features Keasly Grammer (Frasier) sounded just the tinnest bit full of himself. Has anyone met him? I would love to met David Hyde Pierce or Jane Leeves.

Ha I wish I got to meet them.

The one person my sister and I hoped was going to be there was Kelsey Grammer but sadly we didn't see him.
