At Niles' party, everything goes awry when he thinks Daphne is pregnant (with Frasier's child), when it is really Roz who is a mom-to-be.

I loved this episode. I think I've watched it now, oh, I don't even know how many times. It's just so funny how Niles thinks that Daphne is going to have Frasier's child. So cute! I loved that he challenged Frasier to a duel because he thought he was negleting his child. Also, it was hilarious to see who everyone dressed up as. I especially loved Gil's costume. "Another mystery solved" :P Nice. I also loved that Roz actually got a real storyline that was more than just her dating every guy she saw. I was excited that she was going to have a baby. I saw this after the later episodes, though, so I knew what happened (I mean, I was like seven when tis originally aired).

Overall I really enjoyed this episode of Frasier.moreless

- The "Puffy Shirt" first worn by Jerry Seinfeld in the 1993 Seinfeld episode of the same name, and again by David Hyde Pierce in the Season One Frasier episode, "A Midwinter Night's Dream", can be seen in this episode worn by the guy that asks Roz if she's here alone.

- When Niles drunkenly told Martin that he planned to propose, Niles thought Daphne was pregnant while Martin thought it was Roz. Martin was surprised and told Niles he didn't even know Niles liked her, to which Niles responded that he "wore that mask well." If Niles had been a bit more alert, Martin's response would have tipped Niles off that it was not Daphne who was pregnant. Niles was aware that Martin knew about his crush on Daphne, ever since Martin first called Niles on it two year earlier in "Moon Dance." So Martin wouldn't think Niles didn't like Daphne. Therefore, when Martin told Niles he didn't know Niles even liked "her," Niles should have realized the "her" in question was someone other than Daphne.

- When Daphne is speaking to Niles during the party, she reaches to her right eye with a tissue. However, when the camera changes, she is reaching for her left eye.

- During the period where Frasier is responding to the allegation that he is the father of Roz's baby, you can see Peri Gilpin begin to enter and then step back and hide for a moment before making her real entrance. Some might argue that the character Roz hesitated when realizing that everyone was discussing her, but it is such a background event that it is unlikely. What's more, nothing was being said at that moment that referred to her, specifically. Timing her entrance was important since her line must correspond to Frasier saying that they didn't even know for certain if there was a baby, in response to which she appears and says "We do now".

- When Roz comes to the party she is asked which literary figure she came dressed as; she responds by saying, "I'm O, from the 'Story of O'". 'Story of O' (Histoire d'O) is a French erotic novel written by Anne Desclos under a pen name, Pauline RÃ©age. It tells the story of a woman who undergoes dominance and submission training to become a slave, which accounts for Roz' suggestive outfit.
