This isn't the first time we've heard Frasier sing as Yum-Yum in "The Mikado." He also sang it in the Cheers episode, "Simon Says", with a marriage counselor played by John Cleese.
The poster of Father Mike, who was fired early in "She's the Boss" is still visible in the hall outside of Frasier's studio.
About half-way through the episode when Frasier and Kate are arguing in the hallway of KACL, just as Kate says, "You have no sense of humor", the shadow of a microphone is clearly visible on the wall above her head.
Bulldog: Why don't you take your two IQ points, rub them together, see if you can start a fire? (hangs up)
Bulldog: You're in the doghouse? Caller: Hey, am I on? Bulldog: Yeah, take as long as you want. (Bulldog hangs up and goes to the next call)
Frasier: People still ask to see my Yum Yum.
Bulldog: (faking a funny Australian accent) Well mate it's like the Sheila said. I'm working with a real yobbo, he goes on and on about things nobody gives a billabong about just to show off how smart he is. Frasier: Well, you have my sympathy; there is nothing more irratating than pointless and pretentious erudition.
Kate: (talking to Frasier) You told half of Seattle that you are full to the brim with girlish glee.
Frasier: Get ready for a Budweiser geyser!
Niles: (referring to KACL) ...a station whose current motto is "Yakety-yak, we talk back". Borrows from the famous Coasters hit, "Yakety-yak (don't talk back)".
Scene Four Title: THE NOSE KNOWS This borrows from the old radio thriller, The Shadow starring Orson Welles, whose catch phrase was "The Shadow Knows".
Episode Title: Leapin' Lizards The title is comic strip character Annie's favorite exclamation.
