    • Trivia

      ADD TRIVIA
      • Niles incorrectly identifies the wine stain on Frasier's tie as being a Merlot; it is in fact a Cabernet. Ironically, in Season 7's "Whine Club", it is his ability to distinguish Merlot from Cabernet that wins him the coveted post of Corkmaster over Frasier. Edit
      • At San Gennaro, Frasier spills his cabernet all over his tie. The very next shot his tie is clean, then shifts to stained again. This happens twice, ending up clean as he stands and walks over to Johnny's table. Next scene (Scene 2 - "Love Among The Ruins") Frasier has his tie spattered again, but it's a smaller stain only in the center of the tie. Edit
      • On the answering machine message, the flight is given as American Airlines flight #11. This is the flight that producer David Angell was later killed on when it was destroyed, September 11, 2001. Edit

      ADD NOTES
      • At the 1997 Emmy Awards, Frasier won its fourth consecutive award for Outstanding Comedy Series. In addition Kelsey Grammer received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance in the episode "Ham Radio" and David Hyde Pierce also received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Also the series was nominated for Outstanding Casting. Edit
      • Linda Hamilton also voiced the caller Claire in "The Good Son". Edit

      • (Niles tries to zipp Daphne's dress but his tie gets stuck in it) Frasier: Niles, you have something on your tie. Edit
      • Frasier: I managed to get some reservations at San Gennaro tonight. I thought we'd go celebrate your birthday. Roz: Oh, that is so sweet, but I have a date, ... with that waiter we met at lunch yesterday. Frasier: You're going out with that guy? Roz: I didn't have enough for a tip. Edit
      • Frasier: I always loved the name Laura. Martin: Hey Frasier, you know, that was gonna be your name if you were a girl. Frasier: Really? Martin: Yeah. Your mother always wanted Priscilla, but I never liked the nickname "Prissy." Niles: I never much cared for it, either. Edit
