      • Life at KACL: This episode marks the first appearance of Father Mike, whose show we learn is called "Religion on the Line." Father Mike mentions his low ratings, which become the reason for his firing two years later by Kate Costas. This is also the debut of Chopper Dave. Ned Miller becomes the first member of upper-level management shown, but this is his only appearance. Frasier also mentions a show with "Ray the Green Grocer." Edit
      • The pickle being eaten by Bulldog after he enters Frasier's apartment and sits down on his couch gets bigger after Bulldog takes a bite out of it. Edit
      • When Frasier and Roz talk and Father Mike catches up with Frasier to talk about who's getting fired, there seems to be a strange man walking on set (behind Kelsey) and looking at him. Edit

      • Martin: (curious as to why Bulldog was not on the radio) I tuned into the Gonzo Sports Show today like I always do and they had Father Mike filling in. I hate that. All it was was "Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Notre Dame". Edit
      • Niles: I really have to go. I'm conducting a seminar on multiple personality disorders, and it takes me forever to fill out the name tags. Edit
      • Martin: Look Niles if you just came to see Daphne, you don't have to stay. Niles: Dad, I can't believe you would say that. To your own son. I am deeply insulted. (stands up and heads towards the door) Here I wanted to have some time with you but now I'm so upset I'll have to leave.(Daphne enters) Daphne: Oh. Hello Dr. Crane. Staying for dinner? Niles: Yes, love to. (Martin shakes his head) Edit
