  • TRIVIA (3)

    • In this episode, Martin says that Niles and Frasier used to watch the Avengers as children. He and Frasier even talk about Steed, the main character. Patrick Macnee who played Steed in the Avengers, appears in a later episode, "The Show Must Go Off".

    • The plot of this episode bears a striking resemblance to the Season 3 episode "Leapin Lizards".

    • After "Carlos and the Chicken" pull their initial prank, Daphne suggests that it might even become the "bit of the day", implying that she's familiar with their show. However, it's later said that that was their first day.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Martin: Haven't you wondered why the bullies have always zeroed in on you two?
Niles: No, dad, we know the reason...
Frasier and Niles: (in unison) Jealousy.

    • Frasier: (practicing his retort to Carlos and The Chicken for their prank, which made fun of his rear end) I believe I've arrived at a masterful rebuttal!
Martin: I don't know if I'd use the word "rebuttal."

    • Niles: Why didn't you hold the elevator? Didn't you hear me shouting?
Frasier: That was you? I'm sorry, Niles, I was afraid you were trying to get a picture of my butt.
Niles: How exciting to be present at the birth of a new phobia.

    • Niles: Morning, Daphne.
Frasier: Daphne, do you think we're snobby, superior and condescending?
Daphne: That's it! I'm getting my door sound-proofed.
