  • Part one of the great end to season six....

The previous episode "Visions Of Daphne" sets up one of my favorite episodes from my all-time favorite show: "Shutout In Seattle." This is a wonderfully crafted episode of Frasier that begins with Niles and Roz at the coffee shop and ends with the Crane boys singing "Goldfinger" at a bar - only in Frasier.

After a particularly hellish visit to Frasier's house, where the fact that Niles is alone is rubbed in his face by post-passionate-night breakfast that sees Frasier, Martin, and Daphne's significant others over at the same time, Niles goes missing. Frasier has to set out to find out where he is, as well as deal with Roz and Bulldog at work who have been sleeping together.

As one can imagine, "Shutout In Seattle" is a hilarious episode. Niles' horrible time at Frasiers is enough to make the episode one of the funniest ever but the episode also includes a hilarious subplot involving Roz and Bulldog's romance as well as a side-splitting bit with Frasier and Martin on the phone (not knowing that they are talking to each other). Followed-up by an-equally great part II.
