Despite the fact that Roz cut off a huge chunk of her hair in the last episode, it is back to its regular length in this one.
When Frasier is standing in the hallway as Roz appears out of the lift, the door to his appartment is open. A few seconds later when the camera cuts back to Frasier, it's closed.
In her previous appearence, Ann mentioned she wasn't in sales, but in claims.
Daphne: Oh, Niles, that's what our son would look like if I were a goat!
Julia Sweeney and Irene Olga Lopez both reprise their roles from previous episodes. Julia Sweeney first played Ann in "The Placeholder", while Irene Olga Lopez plays Marta for the first time since Season 4's "Ask Me No Questions".
This is the second "Frasier" episode with the name "The ____ Who Came to Dinner." The first was Season 6's "The Seal Who Came to Dinner".
The episode title (and some plot elements) are derived from "The Man Who Came To Dinner", a play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart.
