    • TRIVIA (7)

      • How does Sheila know to call Sam at Frasiers apt?
Sam is obviously avoiding her especially after he left her standing at the wedding. It does not seem likely he would have left her his forwarding number. His wedding was the day before and now he is in Seattle, that seems like a quick rush out of Boston.

      • This episode also corrects a continuity error from Cheers in Frasier. On Cheers, Frasier said his father was dead and was a research scientist. When Sam finds out the truth about Martin--he's a cop, and of course alive, it is revealed that Frasier and Martin had had a big argument over the phone just before Frasier told Sam about his home life. When Martin asks why Frasier said he was a scientist, Frasier replies, "What difference does it make? You were dead!"

      • This episode also tells what became of the Cheers gang. The plumber got rich and dumped Rebecca. She's back at the bar. Norm is still at the bar (no surprise there). Woody and Kelly had a smart baby boy. Cliff doesn't hang around the bar much, because he read an article about flesh-eating bacteria and hasn't left his mother's house since.

      • Sam also coyly remarks that Niles resembled Frasier when Frasier first appeared at Cheers. One of the reasons David Hyde Pierce was hired was because of his striking resemblance to a young Kelsey Grammer on Cheers.

      • Sam confesses his lie to Frasier by saying that no ballplayer comes to Seattle because of the Mariners - a reference to how poorly they have played throughout their history. The episode aired February, 1995. Later that year, the Mariners would clinch their franchise's first division title.

      • At the end of the episode, after Sam mentions stewardesses he claps his hands, and his seat belt (which was caught on something) moves across his chest to the regular position. Cut to a wide shot of the car and Sam's seat belt is back to the position it was in before.

      • In this episode, we learn that Frasier was in Boston for a long weekend three months earlier, so why didn't he pay a visit to his friends at Cheers?

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Roz: You slept with HER?
        Frasier: Yes!
Niles: On what desert island with no hope of rescue was this?

      • Sam: (to Niles) You look just like Frasier did when I met him. (to Frasier) What happened, man?
Frasier: Wasn't exactly a health club you were running there, Sam.
