At the end of the episode, after Sam mentions stewardesses he claps his hands, and his seat belt (which was caught on something) moves across his chest to the regular position. Cut to a wide shot of the car and Sam's seat belt is back to the position it was in before.
Goof: After Roz gets her book signed Frasier says that he wants to pay for the book and get out of there, but when Frasier meets Dr. Honey Snow Roz gets annoyed and leaves, without paying for the book.
The briefcase carried by the priest which Frasier and Niles mistake for Frasier's, is in fact the same one Kelsey Grammer normally uses. You can tell by a pattern of stains on the side near the top. It's understandable that they would use the same one, of course, since it would be of no practical value to provide an exact duplicate for this brief scene.
When Daphne's at KACL, she sits down and picks up the headphones and uses them but in the next shot, a fraction of a second later, the headphones are on the table.
When Niles buys a pair of shoes for Martin, they have tassels and both Frasier and Niles like the shoes; but in "My Coffee with Niles", when Niles asks Frasier what he thinks of the new shoes he bought, Frasier says he isn't a tassel guy and then so does Niles.
Frasier reacts in horror when Martin shows him a picture of Artie's wife and her huge butt, but earlier Frasier and Niles discuss their memories of cookouts at Artie's house when they were small boys. Seems odd that Frasier would not have noticed or remembered if Mrs. Walsh had such a huge posterior.
When Lilith told everyone she and Brian were getting married the next day in Las Vegas, Niles revealed that he thought Las Vegas was the tackiest possible place to get married. He initially thought Lilith and Brian selected Las Vegas to poke fun at the institution of marriage. This is ironic since Niles and Daphne later elope in Reno and are married in a tacky chapel attached to a casino in "The Ring Cycle."
In this episode, Madeleine told Frasier that she is apprehensive about dating divorced men. But in the previous episode on their first dinner date, Madeleine was extremely relieved to hear Frasier was recently divorced because she was afraid he had never been married.
Frasier (doing the lead-in for Bulldog's sports show): Today's topic: what's wrong with our Seattle Mariners? (smirking) if you haven't had a chance to voice an opinion on that in the last eighteen years you'll want to today!
The air date of this show is November, 1994. The Seattle Mariners finished a dismal 49-63 in the strike-shortened 1994 season. However, in the 1995 season, the Seattle Mariners won their first division championship in and defeated the New York Yankees in the the American League Division Series. The M's came within two wins of making it to The World Series, losing to the Cleveland Browns in the American League Championship Series.
Life at KACL: This episode sticks to the established continuity as Bulldog prepares to do his show immediately after Frasier's.
Frasier: (on the subject of Seattle weather) In case you haven't noticed, dad, it does get a little damp around here. For God sake, the state flower is mildew!
The state flower of Washington is the Coast Rhododendron.
If you watch closely as the wrecking ball crashes through the window of Dukes you can see the street backdrop wave in the breeze created by the swinging of the ball.
The baby (Nathan) that Frasier and Niles supposedly delivered and then see again at the hospital is obviously not a newborn - not only by its features, but also by the fact that it is using a pacifier regulated for much older babies.
When Eddie chewed up the Flour package and it got all over the couch it seems unusual that Frasier did not get upset or yell at Eddie because in previous episodes he gets mad that Eddie is even on the couch and we know how Frasier is when it comes to his furniture being damaged or stained.
The number of the cab where Martin delivers the baby is 804, the same as the one in which Alex (Judd Hirsch) delivered a baby on an episode of Taxi.
Under normal circumstances, cigarette smoke will not set off a smoke detector.
Niles puts the pate' behind his ears to get the dog's attention and impress Daphne. This is also what the producers of the show do in order to get Moose, the dog who plays Eddie, to be affectionate with the actors during a scene.
Scene Three Title: UN PEU DE PATÉ DERRIERE LES OREILLES
This translates as "A bit of paté behind the ears" - a trick which Niles finds very useful in attracting a puppy's favor (and Daphne's).
Life at KACL: We learn that KACL features a literary show called "Book Chat" that is hosted by Amber Edwards. No time slot is mentioned.
When Frasier is yelling at Thomas in the booth, the lens on the camera filming Kelsey Grammar reflects the face of someone else in the studio so it's superimposed over the lower right area of the screen.
