  • Allusions

    • During the Quantum Freak parody, several films are also parodied, including Chariots of Fire, 2001: a Space Odyssey, Saturday Night Fever, The Graduate, The Sound of Music, and Jaws.

    • The opening scene of "Freakazoid is History" is a parody of the opening scene of the tv show Gargoyles.

    • Gutierrez: Kirk...oh friend. I...oh, sorry.

Gutierrez, voiced by Ricardo Montalban, begins to channel Khan from the original Star Trek...a more well -nown Montalban role.

    • A very obvious reference to the TV show Quantum Leap is made. Quantum Leap was a television show that premiered in 1989. It followed the adventures of Dr Sam Beckett as he travelled through time 'leaping' into the bodies of different people and living their lives for a short amount of time until he put right a mistake, before 'leaping' on to the next person. It starred Scott Bakula as Sam, and Dean Stockwell as his holographic friend Al, and ran until 1993.
