I use www.tv-links.co.uk for tv shows.  It has How I Met Your Mother...but I haven't tried any of the links out...so if some are dead, I apologize.  This site usually works pretty well, though.

HIMYM is really great and I really hope it won't be cancelled but that's another subject!!

As for the Freaks and Geeks episodes, I don't know about the legallity of it but I once (before I got the DVDs) downloaded them all on Shareaza (it was last year I think) they were all of great quality and not too long to download. But I don't have them anymore, erased them when I bought them.

Busy Phillips guest starred in last night's episode of How I Met Your Mother, reuniting with former F+G castmate Segal, although they didn't have a scene together.

I caught Samm Levine (Neal) in the movie Sydney White, starring Amanda Bynes. Levine's character was basically a throwback to Neal, just in a university setting.

I've been reading online about how the next Apatow produced movie is coming out next month. It is called "Forgetting Sarah Marshall".

The movie is written by and stars Jason Segel, who plays a guy struggling after being dumped by his longtime girlfriend, who is an actress.

There seems to be much speculation that Segel based, at least loosely, the story on his relationship, and subsequent breakup, with Linda Cardellini. Interesting.

Yeah, I've read that before, too. I'm interested in how it plays out, if it is actually based (even loosely) on Jason Segel and Linda Cardellini's past relationship. That should be released to theatres soon, right?

Yes, it comes out April 18th.

A few months ago, on a thread similar to this one, I mentioned how F+G guest star Rashida Jones (as Sam's tormentor Karen Scarfoli) was a cast member of Boston Public. Well, I noticed that Jones is one of the stars of a sitcom that debuted on Fox last night. The name of the show is Unhitched.

One more thing: the gods of TV.com apparently were impressed by my recent blog post about Paul Feig on my profile page. I thought that perhaps the blog post would push me from my status as 90 some percent Level 2 member up to Level 3. Lo and behold, a few days later I find myself at Level 9, on the cusp of moving to Level 10!!!

I feel a little sheepish for complaining a few months ago about not being able to rise above Level 1.

Sounds good. Sandler in the mix as well; nice. I recently came across a Linda-Busy collaboration, brief as it may be. There is a short video I saw on Myspace starring comedian Nick Swardson, who appears with Linda in Grandma's Boy. The short video is called "Smoke Weed All Day". Linda and Busy appear as friends hanging out in a bar, where they are approached by Swardson's character. It's pretty dumb, but stoner comedy tends to be, and I'll watch anything with Linda. I currently have the video featured on my own Myspace page!

Last week, I watched the DVD of another Apatow produced movie, Drillbit Taylor, starring Owen Wilson. I wouldn't put this film on the same level of some of the other Apatow offerings-like Knocked Up, Superbad, and 40-year Old Virgin- but it had it's moments.

Of course, as always, there were more connections to Freaks and Geeks. First of all, the story is about three freshmen boys in high school who are tormented by bullies. (A bit reminiscent of Bill, Sam, and Neil) The school is even named McKinley High School!!

Seth Rogen co-wrote the film, and, as usual, some Freaks and Geeks cast members popped up on screen. I counted three: Mr Kovchesky, the math teacher from F@G, popped up just for a moment as a guy using wi-fi at a coffee shop. Also, Sean, the fourth member of the Freaks' band Creation, was the school bus driver.

Finally, the biggest role for a F@G alum went to Ms. Foote, the social studies teacher in Freaks and Geeks--and Apatow's wife in real life--who again played a teacher (and Owen Wilson's love interest).

Seth is also in the film, Zack and Miri Make A Porno, along with Elizabeth Banks. It was the last movie, I saw in theatres this year, and it is pretty good.

Observe and Report with Seth Rogen was crazy, but great. Pineapple Express with Seth Rogen and James Franco was great.
