Ok, so while this wasn't a great episode, it was a solid improvement over the premiere.
It backed off the sex, crying, and instant relationship between Alex and Helen, while still letting us know that they belong together in the long run.
My favorite character, Emma the assistant, got a storyline, which i was a big fan of. She was funny and her and Helen have an awkward buddy relationship that I'm excited to see play out and hope to see more of it. It had several genuinely funny moments, and several sweet moments.
It's still has a lot of work to do if it wants to get to where this show can be, but this is a solid improvement.
