  • Brilliant bit of squirrel......

Friday Night Dinner is an excellent sitcom starring Tasmin Greig, Simon Bird, Paul Ritter and Tom Rosenthal. Paul Ritter who plays Dad is particularly funny and provides the most gags in each episode. One of my favourite shows on TV! I've never laughed so much watching some of these episodes. All 3 series are funny, crude and extremely well written. I prefer Simon Bird in this role as Adam than I do as Will in The Inbetweeners and I love The Inbetweeners so that's saying something. Nothing but praise for Friday Night Dinner. Jim the neighbour is also brilliant, the idea of him being frightened of his own dog makes me laugh and Jim is just hilarious and awkward.

Outstanding series, I would recommend it highly! It's a shame we only have 3 series, I really want more of Friday Night Dinner.
  • A Shabbat for the goyim

Brilliant prose, tightly crafted script with hilarious situations, a believable family dynamic, engaging close to perfection in a comedy as I have seen. Simon Bird is clearly destined for great things. You can depend on all of the players being on screen as long as the wish to be, the don't throw away actors in British Television; they enjoy them as they age!
  • Pretty Awesome

I love this show, it's far different than most shows here in the United States. I watched the Inbetweeners and then they recommended this show. I wasn't skeptical, I felt like I would like it and I did. I love all the characters from this show. Another season is coming on Fall 2012! yay I'm excited about it, British people can sure make good television.
  • Love this!

I wasn't sure what to make of Friday Night Dinner at first. I was expecting there to be more jokes - like The Inbetweeners - but I think that's a common mistake because Simon Bird is in it.

We're coming up to the end of the first season now and the series has consitently improved. The characters mesh well together and the choice of actors was a great one. My personal favourite has to be the neighbour though, without him the series would be a bit boring I feel.

Definitely glad it's god a second season and would recommend you watch. It's not one of those shows you have to watch all of to understand and is perfect Friday night viewing.
