    "Mediocre"
Smackdown has undergone a metamorphosis over the years. Back in 2002-2004 it was the best wrestling show on television, possibly the best wrestling period in America (yes, on par with ROH), but since then it has become a more character-based show and Raw and ECW have started to churn out better matches.

Not to say that the wrestling is all bad here. I actually liked the women's bout, something that rarely, rarely happens. Smackdown succeeds by really capturing old-school wrasslin' good guys and bad guys. Mickie James has become a strong babyface, CM Punk has become a classic villain and Chris Jericho's promos continue to be nothing short of genius. The show needs to get younger though. The Undertaker, Big Show, Chris Jericho, Batista, Rey Mysterio... these guys cannot main event forever. Give somebody else a chance.moreless
