  • On tonights smackdown, edge got injured, frocing him to release his world heavyweight title, making it therefore-vacant. There was a twents man battle royal for the titile, the great khali became the new world champ. Matt hardy beat kenny dykstra and moremoreless

    the other match was victoria beat torrie wilson, and kane and batista ended in a no contest. the battle royal was great no doubt. Some of the underdog cruiserweights made it pretty far , they were chavo guerro and jimmy wang yang, the last cruiserweight in the ring. The superstars were trying to eliminate the favorites in the begining, via mark henry. Batisa, Kane, and Khali made it to the final 3. batista and kane showed teamwork through the match, getting out two superstars together. Finley also used the shaileigh to try to knock khali off his feet, but it wouldnt work. Batista turned on kane tryed to get him out, but khali got them out from behind to be crowned the frist indian world champ. The Victoria VS Torrie Wilson was jsut a filler match, nuthing that much exciting, along whit the match Matt Hardy beat Kenny dykstra in, it was jsut alright. In the main event, kane faced batista for a no 1 contender match for the world championship at the bash, it ended in a no contest because Khali interfered. So at the Great American Bash, it will be a triple threat match for the world title.moreless

    May i just start off by saying this was one of the best Smackdowns in quite some time. The night started off by theodore r long letting the fans know that edge is injured and must relinquish the Worlds Heavyweight Title. Edge shows a video package about him being slimply the best.The first match was torrie wilson vs Victoria short but entertaining match, Victoria won. Next was the battle Royal for the new Worlds Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali won. We then had Matt Hardy vs Kenny Dykstra which was an okay match with Hardy picking up the victory, Teddy Long lets us know that there will be a match between Batista and Kane to see who will face Khali at the Bash for the Worlds Heavyweight Title. Khali interfered to set up a triple threat match at the Great American Bash for the Worlds Heavyweight title

    ALL in ALL a very solid smackdown, seeing as Edge is Gone i think Smackdown brightened the future for us fans a little
