The Core is not a bad name. Heath Slater is better when he's not speaking.

I think the name is terrible. It has no zing to it. If he's Caesar and it's their court, why not call it something that deals with that.

And I agree, Slater should not have a mic.

Why are Truth and Del Rio fighting once again?

Decent match. I am hoping that during the Rumble, their little tiff will come into play.

The rematch between Drew McIntyre and Trent Barreta was pretty cool. I thought Barreta was going to win again, but McIntyre was the tougher man.

I was thinking the same thing. He put up a nice battle, but that killer hip toss like move off of the top rope was cool to see.

    - Big Zeke...sounds decent for a big guy. Wow. I'm amazed they didn't let this man speak more.

    - Core. The name of a brand new stable is...Core? Uh, yeah. I have a big problem with that name.

    - Who attacked Teddy? I so see, for some odd reason yet obvious on the back of my mind, that Vickie Guerrero is actually the one who orchestrated the whole thing. If so, then congratulations. They've ONCE again said screw Dolph Ziggler being the no. 1 contender for our top title, let's get Vickie Guerrero over when she DOESN'T NEED IT. And people wonder why I think Vickie kills careers.

    - Are they trying to outdo Maryse and Ted Dibiase Jr as the most boring wrestling couple in mainstream wrestling with two even more boring characters in Drew McIntyre and Kelly Kelly? Explain that.

Thus far, this SmackDown is missing something.

Why does Wade Barrett compare himself to Julius Caesar? Is it because he thinks he's a great ruler?

I don't see that at all.

The ending left much to be desired because it's the same thing they did to John Cena. If it were the Undertaker it would have made a better impact and crowd reaction. Hopefully they end up wearing the same colors to show unity.

He mentioned it in his interview last week or the week before and I forgot. I'm going to find that promo.

Edit: I found it. He called himself that due to how Caesar became powerful, and power hungry and his closest compadres did him in.

If he's a war hero like Caesar was, then I'll see the comparison.

I don't have a huge problem with the name "Core", but I don't like that they misspelled it. Unless I'm missing something, why is it spelled "Corre" on the nameplate and titantron?

Edge vs Gabriel was a good match. at Edge being finished by a clothesline.

Gabriel's 450 is perfect every time.

I must a make a complaint though.....WWE need to realise that the style of commentary they are pushing simply doesn't work. It genuinely gives me a headache, watching a wrestling match while 3 or 4 guys are having conversation about something completely different. It's like watching a movie with the wrong audio.

I'm with Team Hate The Name Core. It just sounds stupid, there is no *pop* to it.

Surely they could've picked a better name than The Corre.
