After BFG aired, I think I know why Matt wanted to get released.
He wanted to turn heel with Jeff?
He could have been part of the "They" revelation at BFG.

So if Matt Hardy appeared on TNA before his 90-day no-complete clause ends, for how much he would get sued? I don't think he would want to break that clause, but he could be capable of doing it.

Well at least now he's happy. I think it's best for both WWE and Matt just to go there own separate ways. I honestly don't think Hardy was even putting that many butts in seats anyway so it's not a big loss. As for Matt, I guess he can now go to TNA and join up with Eric, Hogan, and Jeff to add more flames to the "THEY".

I'd rather Viscera came to TNA than Matt Hardy.

You know what the irony of all this is? I might even get more heat for this than for anything I've said about Matt.

I'm actually a fan of Jeff.

That's the exact same thing I was thinking. I like how he thinks he's going to go out there and change the wrestling business.....it's almost adorable.

One of my friends is saying that on another board (without an exact source) that the reason WWE finally fired Matt Hardy was because he posted a video of Rey Mysterio unmasked. If that's true, lol. That's a big no-no in WWE.

Both WWE and Matt Hardy are dicks IMO. WWE for f*cking the guy over and not releasing him months ago as well as feeding Matt to Boreintyre (who should have been fired months ago). Matt for exposing Mysterio unmaskedand potentially bringing problems to Rey and his handling of stuff.

Honestly I think this whole situation is a win in the minds of both parties, but in reality its probably only a win for the WWE. Matt probably thinks he can just step into TNA as the next big draw in wrestling, join "They" and make it the most dominant stable in wrestling history. In reality the WWE actually won because they not only get to fire the guy who has been clearly lacking in motivation andwork ethiclately, and they can stop worrying about having to push Hardy who they realize is past his prime and was probably never going to get a world title shot. Instead they can give his upper mid-card spot to someone else like Kaval eventually or someone else they can and actually will try to push to the main event.

I thought Matt's slot was already occupied by McIntyre.

Q, I'd like to direct you to the very first post in this thread.

I was the first person on the internet to report Matt showing Rey's face in a Youtube video! And I did it over a month ago.

And Yooper, you should send him the link to this thread.
