Interesting. I wonder what their criteria was.

    This is what I found:

I was wondering about that too. It's not like he had an awful year either.

How does John Cena not fit into this list, everyone says he has a great work rate and his performances have been improving he has had great matches with Del Rio, Punk, Mysterio, and some good matches (not great) with Miz and R-Truth. It definently wasn't his best year, but he definently deserves to be on that list, especially when a guy like Jeff Jarrett is on that list.

I'm actually not sure. I'd love to know explanations. Plus Bully Ray should be much higher.

Bully Ray has improved severely since going singles. He's great on the mic, he can do a bit of heel comedy (mostly with Steiner), and he's not that bad in the ring with underhanded stuff.

I haven't got round to buying the magazine yet (I do every month). I'm surprised Cena wasn't in it, I'd put him above Del Rio and Miz.

It's cool that Shingo is number 5. He put a lot of people over this year (most notably Tozawa at Kobe, he basically made him since he was previously only over in the USA).

Anyone else surprised Christian is number six? I mean I know he had a great Summer but he didn't do much before Wrestlemania or after Summer Slam so he was only around for about half the year. I'm a big fan of his but I don't think I'd put him in the top ten for this year even.

But the "one more match" quote was legendary, that alone should propel him into the top ten.

Agreed. Not sure where I would put him, but certainly not that high.

I looked at the list again and I think somewhere between 15 and 20 would be appropriate, he did have two World title reigns even in that short time frame and the matches against Orton were all instant classics so I would say that would be a fair ranking. But once he comes back in 2012 I'm sure he will get, "one more match!" to JLe's and my delight

Cena NOT in the top 50? Something must be wrong.
And if anything, Christian should've been higher.

Is there any surprise that Randall is listed as the number 2 wrestler, and the highest ranked WWE wrestler? Nope. Going by the criteria that Telvis posted, I can easily see why Randy was rated so high (as I pointed out in Randy Orton's injury thread) he has really worked hard this year. He wrestled on Raw and Smackdown for a majority of the year, and had really compelling storylines. He managed to help elevate young and up coming superstars, while still keeping his dominance in the industry. Kudos to Randy Orton, as he continues to get better.
