Good show. We start off with an interesting confrontation with newcomer Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. Alberto looks like a very polished wrestler. Obviously when you start working for the Wwe, the Wwe goes all out. The promos for Alberto were nicely done basically making this guy out to be a high class snob who thinks he is better than everybody else.

The confrontation with Rey then turned out to be a war of words where Rey laid down the gauntlet saying he didn't respect. A fight ensues with Rey getting the better of Alberto. Nicely done.

Match #1: Intercontinental Championship: Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler

Fans got robbed of the Summerslam match by Nexus but here we got the full match. Dolph gets the better of Kofi.

Match #2: The Big Show & Kelly Kelly vs Luke Gallows & Serena

Serena's official debut wrestling. Not a bad mixed tag match with Serena beating up the very much improved Kelly Kelly. Match #3: Christian vs Drew McIntyre

A similar match to the one they have been having except that "Dashing" Cody Rhodes is there at ringside. Christian pulls out the win after taking a lot of punishment.. Match #4: Rey Mysterio vs Alberto Del Rio

For an in ring debut this good. Alberto even comes down with his own personal ring announcer. As mentioned, the Wwe does go all out when trying to push new talent. The match itself was pretty memorable. This was one of those David and Goliath type of matches that Rey has made famous. Alberto is stronger and bigger than Rey, but Rey gives him all he could handle.

The finish was decent with Alberto pulling out a submission out of nowhere. I don't see Rey getting buried here. To really push new talent, they need to get wins, so Alberto winning made sense, and it'll only increase the hate for the guy. Kane promo

Kane gives an interesting promo detailing the history with Undertaker. Kane now has dropped the act that somebody else took him out and takes responsibility. It's true that this Undertaker and Kane is nothing new but seeing as this is likely to be their last feud before they retire, the E might as well push this as far as it could go.moreless

What on earth was that Kane promo? Ten minutes of him just ranting and whining about nothing? I tell you, I certainly am not looking forward to a Kane vs. The Undertaker match on PPV in the near future. Not in the year 2010.

Alberto del Rio winning is just ridiculous. Yes, this guy has potential to be a top draw for the brand, but you cannot just bury your own stars to hype him up; this was almost as bad as the Nexus storyline.

Not a terrible Smackdown, but I definitely will not be rewatching anything from tonight's show on Hulu anytime soon.moreless
