  • In their first televised match, The Undertaker takes on Chris Jericho.

    8.0
A decent Smackdown. The highlight had to be The Undertaker and Chris Jericho wrestling one on one for the first time. Jericho was in a couple of matches with the Undertaker but this was the first one on one match. Great match especially on my Birthday.

These are two of the best guys in the business so they delivered a great match. It was all Undertaker from the beginning. When he goes for his patented move off the top rope, Jericho pulls him out. Jericho gets going here. Undertaker comes back and tries the snake eyes, but Jericho counters with a drop kick. These guys know each other, so was as flawless as you could get. Jericho counters the choke slam, then mocks The Undertaker with the tombstone. Great stuff.

Jericho gets Undertaker in the Walls of Jericho, but Undertaker uses the opportunity to apply the Hell's Gate submission. You know who wins after this. It was a great match to sell the Survivor Series PPV.

Match #1: R-Truth vs CM Punk

An ok match. Punk is now out of the title picture, so will have to deal with being in the midcard.

Match #2: Mickie James vs Natalya

A solo run by Natalya after the Hart Dynasty has started to win matches. James is in a feud with Layla and Michelle McCool. They come out to distract Mickie giving Natalya the match.

Match #3: Finlay vs Drew McIntyre

A double dq. McIntyre has been labeled for whatever by McMahon as the next World Champ. He has been getting over lately. Nothing is settled here. Finlay will be a big test for McIntyre.

Match #4: for the Intercontinental Championship: John Morrison vs Dolph Ziggler

Thought Ziggler would win here it's been months now after he's had quality matches with Rey Mysterio now Morrison. Match ends in a count out pushing the feud further.

Match #5: Job Girl vs Beth Phoenix

A rather pointless match with Beth. If she's so tough and ready, why don't they put her in a feud with McCool or James instead of beaten up female jobbers?

Match #6: The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho

Already covered. Great match. A decent Smackdown. This was the highlight of the show.moreless

    • CM Punk: Look at you people, look at what's become of the mighty United Kingdom. This land used to be full of kings and knights and noblemen, you used to rule half the planet, and now you're just as sad and pathetic as the Americans. You can pretend you're not, you can pretend you don't spend your days tucked away in some little pub, downing your pints of ale. You can pretend you don't spend every single night filling your lungs and those around you with carcinogens and poisons from your fancy cigarettes and your trendy cigars. You can pretend you don't knowingly stuff chewing tobacco in your mouth, one of the most disgusting habits I've ever seen in my life, something that will give you cancer inside of two years. You people are weak-minded, you have no heart, your spirit is broken.

    • R-Truth: (to CM Punk) You can file a complaint any time you want to, that's your prerogative. But I want to file a complain too, against you. My complain is for you impersonating a man. Look, I didn't come out here to put you down or to try and make you look bad. Besides, you're doing a good job of that yourself! I did come out here to add a little flavour and excitement and to shut you up! You see these hard-working people? They paid their hard-earned money to see action, not to hear your preach. I've seen punks like you before, oh and that's exactly what you are, you are a punk!

    • Layla: Wow, I can't believe you're still here.
Mickie James: And I can't believe you're still talking!

    • John Morrison: I thrive on this pressure, I thrive on this feeling, I thrive on these butterflies. That's why I do this, Josh. When I get out there, I'm going to hit Dolph Ziggler harder than Ricky Hatton, kick him harder than David Beckham, and rock this mother harder than the Beatles!

    • Drew McIntyre: Two weeks ago, I didn't let Finlay in this ring because he wasn't worthy. He's still not worthy. But tonight, I've a little change of heart. You see, apparently Finlay loves to fight and since I intend to make a statement, lets just see how much he loves fighting me!

    • Batista: (to Rey Mysterio) You're exactly what I thought you were, a little coward, hiding behind your goofy little mask! You were supposed to be my friend and you cost me my World Heavyweight Championship. Now you're going to sign this or I'm going to embarrass you in front of all these people and I'm going to reach across this table and snap your little neck like a twig!

    • Todd Grisham: Don't let the bedazzled ringwear and fur fool you, Morrison's tough.
Matt Striker: Listen, when I first met John Morrison, I thought oh okay, here's a good-looking kid but I'm sure he's dumb as a stump. But no, Morrison is all deep and creative. Girls love him, guys want to be him. Urgh!
