  • Matt Hardy takes on Punk with return of Undertaker being highlighted.

    9.0
Another entertaining Smackdown. First LMAO at CM Punk coming out dressed up as Jeff Hardy. This guy beside establishing as a strong heel is hilarious to watch.

He belittles the fan with the usual stuff he's been preaching out for the last month.

Matt Hardy comes out to beat up Punk. Teddy Long makes Matt Hardy vs. CM Punk later in the night.

Match #1: Finlay & The Great Khali vs Kane & Mike Knox

An ok match. Nothing special though.

Match #2: for the Intercontinental Championship: Rey Mysterio vs John Morrison

Grisham and Ross called this the first Main Event. They were right. This was the best match of the night. This was a PPV type of match for free on SD. Rey held on to the IC Title for a while. He puts over Morrison in a great match. Too many moves to describe here.

Match #3: R-Truth vs Drew McIntyre

LMAO Truth gets beats up for the second week in a row as they are trying to establish this Drew character.

Match #4: Maria & Eve vs Natalya & Layla

    Ok Divas match.

Match #5: Matt Hardy vs CM Punk. Last Match. Tough fought as expected. Punk tries to pull the same stunt with the chairshot to the neck that he did on Jeff. Undertaker comes in for the save and slams Punk on announce table.

A great way to end the show.moreless

    • CM Punk: Then there's the Undertaker, who is a legend. But he is no longer the solitary icon here on Smackdown. I am the only back-to-back Money in the Bank winner, I am the man that retired Jeff Hardy and I'm the first and only straight-edge World Heavyweight Champion. So if the Undertaker at any moment wants to come down here and test my breaking point, well I'll be waiting.

    • CM Punk: I have no breaking point and alls you have to do is look in my eyes to realise that I've laughed in the face of temptation time and time again. I have never tapped out to society's school yard attempts at peer pressure. You try to stick a beer in my hand with the same commercials that have hypnotised all of you people and that sell you all your narcotics and things you're addicted to. Well, I'm harder than any alcohol you can drink, I'm straighter than any line you can snort up your nose, and I certainly can hurt you a lot faster than any pill you put on your tongue!

    • Matt Hardy: I'm sure that CM Punk is worried about the return of the Undertaker and rightfully so, CM Punk should be worried about the presence of the Undertaker. But there's something else CM Punk should be worried about and that's me, because I'm not after his World Heavyweight Championship, I'm not after his soul. I've come to take CM Punk's health, his well-being, his livelihood. I've come to take from CM Punk what he took from my brother and that's his career.
