Keira Knightley, Simon Pegg, Adam Sandler, The Polyphonic Spree.
AIRED:
It seems like just 63 days since Jonathan was talking to J.K. Rowling. Either that, or I can't count. However long it was, the wait is over - he's back. To kick things off, there is a rare interview with Keira Knightley who, incidentally, weighs less than Jonathan's hair. Funny man Simon Pegg and man Adam Sandler also appear on the first show. Music comes from Dallas-based twenty-three-piece band The Polyphonic Spree, who, incidentally, weigh less than Jonathan's hair.moreless

  • Great, great series opener

Firstly, the polish people were the most random addition to the show I've ever seen!! And Jonathan's facial hair has to go, it looks ridiculous.

First to be interviewed was Simon Pegg, his interviews are always fun and this was another good interview from him. He didn't really have much to say although his interview did go by very well, it is probably because he already tried to plug the same film last year so this time round he can't do the same thing again. Still, it was a great interview with some classic Jonathan Ross chat material.

Second to come was Adam Sandler, he did try to give a funny interview but most of his jokes seem to gloss over and I can't really remember anything that stands out from his interview. It was good to watch though and it is an average chat you would expect to see from this show.

Last to come was Keira Knightley - first let me say this - she is beautiful in every way. The second thing to say is that she spoke extremely freely unlike many of the Hollywood actresses you see on talk shows today. It was a perfect interview with some good humour and also some very good revealing parts into her new film and her life. It was the perfect balance and her interview seemed to fly by.

How many members of The Polyphonic Spree are there? I didn't like the song or the performance. It sounded like they had ripped off an Abba song and there were far too many of them to hear anything distinctive. I also can't remember the song despite hearing it less than 15 minute ago.

    All in all, great show.moreless
