  • A cursed teacup falls into the hands of an unscrupulous person who uses it to prey on homeless people.

    7.0
I rather liked this one for its idea, performances and buildup. On the negative side, the ageing makeup in its middle stages was unconvincing, but the regulars - and Jack's guest "admirer" - were as likeable as ever, the idea of a cursed teacup that kills the drinker was nicely offbeat and the "vampire" scenes were effectively weird. While most viewers would be able to guess how the episode ends, there were some nice twists and turns along the way. This episode often reminded me why I'm watching the series again now (on DVD), twenty years after I first saw it.moreless
