  • A mirror to the dark dimension....and viewing this episode makes it seem like you're already there....

    3.0
In this episode, the first of the second season for this series, Micki and Ryan are lured to a house formerly owned by their late uncle Lewis. Ok, right off the bat, I have a question: in the series pilot, the cousins are looking to sell off the items inside the antique shop, the only asset left by Uncle Lewis. How did this house wind up being missed back then?

Beyond this, the rest of the episode plays out in a haphazard manner and left me scratching my head more than a few times. The cousins are trapped inside the house and unable to leave the alternate dimension they are in unless they rescue a trapped criminal. There are too many plot holes and frankly there isn't any sense of fear or dread that stimulates a viewer. The episode comes across dreary and seems like a show that was based on a half finished script.

There are many good episodes to watch in this series but this isn't one of them.moreless
  • Worst opening for a new season!

    1.0
This is by far the worst episode of the whole series... can't believe it was the opening for season 2. The acting was so bad, even the main characters stumble throughout every scene and the face expressions of them are horrible - they wanted to do so much and couldn't accomplish anything at all. The storyline itself is not bad, but because of the painful dialogues and cheap sets it was a total failure. And the boring character Rashid makes it even worse. If that would have been one of the last episodes nobody would ever miss the show. A good example how to make a good show turn badmoreless
