Dewey must be a mind reader. When Micki calls him for the first time and asks directions, he tells her, "It depends on where she is coming from." She doesn't ever give him that info but a few seconds later, he tells her that he is "Just down the coast." How would he know this? She never told him her location.
When the homeless woman uses the compact, the mirror is (at best) a little scratched. Later when Helen uses it, there is a large crack across it, presumably from when the homeless woman was hit by the car. But the antiques are indestructible, so the mirror shouldn't be scratched or cracked.
Trivia: This episode reveals that Ryan had a kid brother who died in front of him when they were both boys. The accident is shown in Season Three's "The Prophecies".
Trivia: Jack's absence is explained away by a postcard he sends Micki. In it, he tells them that he is tracking down the Icarus Feather.

When they show Jack at the bottom of the elevator shaft, he has blood coming from his right nostril, but his left is clean. But, when they then show a close-up of Jack on the medical gurney, heading to the operating room, his left nostril is covered in blood, but his right is clean.
The radio announcer said that it's Halloween and a full moon, but he's wrong. The two most recent dates when a full moon was on Halloween are Thursday, October 31, 174, and Wednesday, October 31, 2001. The episode is set in 1987.
Trivia: The cursed object, the Amulet of Zohar, vanishes with Lewis at the end. This is first time that the heroes don't get the cursed object back at the end of the episode.
Trivia: Unlike most episodes, where the heroes take back antiques from the world and put them safely in their vault, in this episode, they take an antique from their vault and through Lewis release it into the world.
Ryan alone in room, lays the teacup down and heads to the kitchen. When the teacup is stolen, Ryan, Micki, and Jack run back into the room. Jack looks around the area where Ryan had placed it and declares it stolen. The thing is Jack was not present when Ryan laid the cup down.
When Jack comes down the stairs and says, "Drop it, now!", the cousins are several feet away. The camera immediately cuts to a shot of the cousins and the sword Jack is holding is suddenly inches away from Ryan's face.
