Across the internet, this show has gotten a huge variety of reviews. Some people hate it, some people love it. I do not love it exactly, but it is a pretty good show.

I loved the first two episodes, they were both really funny. My favorite moment was when Jules was enjoying the sandwich and the mayo spat out. That one left me dying laughing. The problem is that this show, at times, goes overboard with the sex jokes, and I think that's why I didn't enjoy episodes three and four as much. But, episode five from this last Monday was really funny. The guys were hilarious in a very classic storyline. The scenes at the grocery store express lane with Jules and Kate were also hilarious! The one week spot was Andi's storyline, but it wasn't too bad.

Overall, this show has been pretty good so far. It's not a show I look forward to all week, but it is enjoyable. The male characters and Kate are really good. Jules and Andi are up and down, but definitely both have potential. If this show is canceled this evening, which is very possible, I will be sad that it will not have gotten a chance to grow, but I won't really miss it.

What are your thoughts onthe first season of Friends with Better Lives so far?

I watched the first episode and thought it as a bit lame. But with each episode the characters have grown on me and I have laughed myself silly

after the f up that was the finale for how I met your mother and she died after ten minutes, I honestly thought they'd found a gem here

but now I hear they've canned this show.

the studio execs obviously expect you to be able to drop a seed in some soil then come back in ten minutes an hey presto you have an apple tree with fruit ready for harvesting.

I liked the show. I must admit it is mainly because of the cast. I loved Kevin Connolly from Entourage days and glad he is getting a sitcom of his own. Brooklyn Decker is always nice to look at. James Van Der Beek is funnier than I expected and better than when he was playing himself in Apt 23. I do not know Zoe Lister-Jones or Majandra Delfino before this but both are doing a good job especially Zoe. The only weak link is Rick Donald.

I do not watch much comedies and even less sitcom but I am still sticking with this.

I think the problem is it is too much like Friends and in that sense it came a decade too late.

I agree there is a lot of sex jokes which might put some people off though it is totally fine with me.

I find this show hilarious and hope it doesn't get cancelled, but given that I'm not that invested in it, I wouldn't be all that bummed if it was.

I really like this one. I don't find comedies that funny usually, but I've had a good run this year; I added Mom as well.

really been enjoying FWBL every week. Last weeks with the male escort had me LMAO.

If its cancels, i'll be a little bummed out. The CBS comedies this season I've found really funny, The Millers, The Crazy Ones, Mom and FWBL have all had their moments that I sat there just laughing at.

Though also watched Bad Teacher, I just said sure why not since Sirens wasn't on yet and that was so meh.

I agree this show has a lot of potential if they find the center for each characters. Like in friends Ross was nerdy and Joey was dumb. It could work. Right now they are defined by their relationship status but doesn't explore much into it. It is mentioned in a small value. Rules of engagement had similar concept, they explore the marriage, the engagement and single person's life.

I also think FWBL was a good cast not great but with chemistry. Hope it stays. It is far better than Dads. I enjoyed some of the sex jokes but too much in one episode feels forced, just like it did in Dads.
