In the opening credit sequence during one of the earlier seasons, there is a clip of Chandler jumping into Joey's arms. This clip was never used in an episode. The productions staff didn't want it to go to waste so it was used in the credits. Does anyone know what episode it was cut from?

For some reason I think it's from TO After the Super Bowl when Erica (the stalker) first arrives at Joey and Chandler's, like they reacted differently than with the pan and detergent.  But when I went to check the clip, they're wearing different clothes than when Erica arrives, so I guess I don't really know for sure to be honest. LOL

I thought the exact same thing! But when I checked the episode I saw that they were wearing different clothes too! That's funny.

Go to "Edit My Profile" and then click on the "Boards" tab. The last category is called "My Signature." Anything you type in that box will appear after all forum posts. In the future, all questions of this nature need to be asked in a help forum. Just click on the forum tab at the top of the page and there will be plenty of people to help.

There is an episode in either Season 8 or 9 where Ross was using the air quotations and Joey tried using themand told Ross "I'm 'sorry'" (using the air quotes for the word sorry). Ross's response was "Dude, your not using them right!" Does anyone know what episode I'm talking about, if so, which one? I appreciate any feedback!

Matthew Perry, who played Chandler, developed an addiction to alcohol and to ease this he then became addicted to Vicodin. He first started taking prescription drugs after a jet ski accident in 1997 and checked himself into Hazelden. In 2000 he was hospitalized with pancreatitis as a result of his addictions. During that summer he lost 20 pounds, appearing noticeably thinner during the 7th season premiere of Friends, in a scene that continued directly from the 6th season finale.

Matthew Perry checked into rehab. The filming schedule on Friends was altered so scenes not featuring his character Chandler were shot first. This is why Chandler moved to Tulsa in season 9. His recovery once again caused weight fluctuations.
