The grandmother wasn't Frank's mother. When he showed up to the funeral he said, "I used to be real tight with her and her daughter"

Maybe Phoebe chose not to be with her grandmother (you know rebellious teen?) but you are right that doesn't make sense.

Oh yeah, that makes sense, now that I think about it. I remember her making a derogatory comment about him when she wanted to visit him that came more from a son-in-law kind of stance than purely a son stance. I dont know why I said that.

Yeah, Im sure she chose not to, but I would think that if her grandmother was that close with her that shed have no choice, being a minor and all. Well she said something about 'moving to the city' in the Pilot so maybe her grandmother lived in NYC and Phoebe lived upstate or something like that and her grandmother wasnt that close with her mom so she didnt know that she died until it was too late. Or maybe she tried to take Phoebe in but then Phoebe ran away and she didnt know how to find her again or something. Then once she became an adult she found her, apologized to her and then decided to move in with her to have some semblance of a family.

It didnt make sense to me at the time but now that I really thought about it, and with your guyses help, it makes more sense now. Thanks

The One With the Tea Leaves which is in Season 8 and it's episode 17.

This is the one with the CDs being reorganized.

I love the line, "WOW you guys have such problems!" by Rachel. Classic.

Phoebe doesn't go to London (and neither does Lisa Kudrow for the actual casting) all of her footage is shot in a sound studio. This is in the Season 4 finale.

Other than that no. This show had all 6 in every episode. There were episodes were one character didn't show up much and maybe only had a line or two but that was the great thing about the show. It was a true ensemble cast.

Why Ross said "nobody likes change" when Rachel asked "good different" ?

    I just don't get Ross's reply to Rachel's question ...
if anybody can explain ... I would much appreciate it !
